L & B TRAVEL LTD

I booked L&B travel for my wedding to bring the evening guest to and from venue. I was quoted £425 this was for pick up from simonside to Newton Hall then return at midnight.On my wedding day I got a phone call from guests waiting at the agreed location for pick up to say no bus had arrived this was 30 minute after the agreed time. I contacted the company…(on my wedding day), where I was informed that the bus was involved in a car crash and they were sending a replacement bus it would arrive in another 20 minutes. I was obviously disappointed but I was very understanding with the company as accidents do happen and as long as no body was injured that was the main thing. However the company had made no effort to contact me to inform me of the ‘crash’ as they didn’t want to bother me fair enough but I had to inform the guests who were waiting.Which meant I had to delay cutting cake, first dance and photo opportunities which then delayed evening food until evening guests arrived.Once a driver eventually turned up…an hour late he denied any crash had happened and informed the guests on the coach that the company actually didn’t have a driver and he had been asked last minute to come and do the job.He didn’t know where he was taking the guests, he had to ask them ‘where are we ofc too?’ and then had to ask one of them to use there data on phone for a sat nav as he did not have a sat nav and his phone was out of data!The guests did arrive over an hour late.Coming home the agreed pick up was 23:45 to leave at midnight. I again had to phone as come 23:45 the was no bus. The bus arrived just after midnight.Since the wedding the company have not been in touch with any kind of apology or to offer any money back from the £425 that was paid.Very disappointing service.I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Fantastic service. Quick responses to messages. Geoff, our coach driver, was a real gentleman. It was a tricky track he had to come up to collect us all and he had to make some clever manoeuvres. No complaining, just did a great job. Thank you L & B Travel. Will recommend.

Poor service experience.Vehicle broke down at Durham services, instead of sending replacement, a mechanic arrived 40 minutes later from Bladen.Vehicle restarted but again broke down at Barton services.Trip to Anfield Liverpool abandoned.Contacted company couple days later but did not have decency to reply, only passing contact to trip organiser.Again contact made and received response which was clearly suggesting that our ticket loss of £54 was not their fault or responsibility.Overall experience and customer care. very poor.

Im traveling right now in an L&B BUS frim Aida Newcastle on a tour thro Newcastle I,ve rarely seen such a dirty bus,the seats obviously have not been cleaned in many months and under the seats dirt and sweet psper even an old flag. not nice for visitors from abroad. ps.L&B contacted the driver as we were making our break and the bus was then cleaned, alls well that ends well

CLS Amazons Women hired a bus from L&B to travel to our FA cup match against Fleetwood Town. Excellent service and driver Geoff was brilliant.

Wonderful service from the travel company. Very efficient and prompt. our group was taken care by Robin the bus driver from the time we left Sunderland to Kent, Robin was a very friendly gentleman and communicating very well with the adults and children. Took us to all the destinations and was polite and courteous. Surely a good coach company to recommend. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Booked a 16 seater from L&B travel for bridal party to travel to local venue, from the initial call with Joanne, quote and confirmation call back 2 days before pick up the service was truly excellent, coach was immaculate, driver smart and prossesional (apologies I didn't get his name) price was very reasonable, I would definitely recommend this company and use again.
