Art for Life UK

I absolutely love everything about my Art for Life class, I’ve been going for a number of years now and have learnt so much, I’m still learning something new every week in all media thanks to the excellent tutors who are helpful, informative and friendly.I have made friends as everyone is so supportive and encouraging towards each other.I would totally recommend this art class to anyone no matter what your experience.Peta X

I have attended the Thursday afternoon class at the Arc in Caterham for the last year and have signed up again. For September. There has always been a friendly atmosphere.At tea time i usually look at how everyone else is doing It is amazing how we all work differently and produce widely different work on the same project. Everything we need is provided and I have really enjoyed the classes. My only problem is I am rarely quick enough to finish my work in class and enjoy them so much, I would be happy to stay longer .

I have been attending the classes for some time and would highly recommend. Alison Kate and Kaz always provide great tips and techniques and I've learnt so much! The classes are mixed abilities so you can be completely brand new or have experience and it will still work for you. I myself have studied art so have a background in art but still learnt new things. It's also a lovely place to meet other artists and gives me a dedicated space to focus.

A very friendly and encouraging class, where everyone improves and shares their love of creating art. Everything is possible and all is valued. I love going.

I love my weekly Art for Life class. I go along every Monday and it really sets me up for the week. The subjects are always interesting and the teacher give so much information and encouragement in trying different mediums. I have made some lovely friends there as well.

Art for Life has sure saved my life! These art classes are not just any ordinary Art Classes, they’re classes that are perfectly created and designed for all abilities. They have so many different courses and workshops to choose from, a 10 week all abilities course, (which I attend) to art evenings, life drawing, screen printing and much much more!One of my favourites was meeting at the park to paint plein air, this was so much fun!They also offer a great 5 week introduction to art course perfect for any beginners to test the waters in the wonderful and magical life of art. I go to the Monday afternoon class, which really sets my week off to a positive and happy start. What I also love about these amazing classes are that we get to use and explore different mediums, we learn about different artists and their techniques, and get to draw all sorts of interesting things. Lastly but no means least, all the teachers are so so lovely, helpful and so very tenanted, and all the pupils are so very friendly. Absolutely love my Mondays, my favourite day of the week! :)
