As a first time dog owner I was very unsure about how to manage some of my puppies negative behaviour, like lead pulling, mouthing, counter surfing, poop eating and repeatedly stealing and chewing the TV remote at every opportunity! Jo was very supportive and helped me understand Harley's needs and body language and taught me some excellent techniques to help him chill out at home and out on walks. Jo is absolutely brilliant!

We are absolutely over the moon with Jo professionalism, she is full of knowledge about dogs , body language and their needs and is great at communicating that too.We were a bit under control with our labrador retriever suffering with some anxiety and stress, also overarousal in the house and Jo pointed at all this and told us how to sort it with practise. Also recommended few products more suitable for our dog and the all worked really well. My only regret is not having contacted Jo before, so we would make sure we had a happy puppy since the begining.Would definitely recommend!

Jo Hinds is fantastic. I have a welsh terrier puppy called Dylan - he’s a true terrier and very much has his own mind, so I was skeptical at first that behavioural training would help us.Dylan is now off the lead and his recall is really good.From the moment we met Jo, it was very relaxed and her observations and training started right away. Her coaching style means she’s constantly picking up on how Dylan is behaving and more importantly, how I am behaving! Jo has taught me that dogs are capable of doing lots of things but that consistency, rewarding good behaviour (with decent treats!) and having simple command works “sit, stay, play” are crucial to getting your dog behave how you want them to. Sounds simple but it’s not, and Jo’s constant coaching has helped us get to where we need to be.We started training in the garden and then used our sessions to work on recall on walks in the park and the woods.Jo is really good at teaching you how to stop signs of frustration, over excitement and fear so you know what your dog might need from you and how they may respond.We had an initial 4 sessions spaced two weeks apart, and I’ve opted for a few more spaced 6 weeks apart. In between these sessions, I’ve updated Jo on progress and challenges, and she’s responded quickly with helpful advice to feed into daily training.Dylan and I have worked hard - dog behavioural training isn’t about seeing results after 4 1-hour sessions - you need to continue to work at it and bond with your dog to make it lasting. Everyday is a training day!I would really recommend Jo as a fantastic dog behavioural trainer.

Working remotely/over zoom takes real skill and you made it easy and made sure the training was actionable. I am loving watching her grow up and your help with training and contextualising the behaviours I see in her has been essential.

Jo was incredibly helpful and such a lovely and gentle trainer, we loved having her for our puppy for a few months and she helped with all our worries and questions. Replies were always quick and helpful, we looked forward to every session and have loved raising our puppy with her advice and techniques, she always put us at ease!She is such a comforting person to have around if you’re an anxious first dog owner (like us!) :)

Jo has been an amazing help with our new puppy who was an overstimulated and anxious ball of energy from the day we brought him home. She doesn't just give tips with training but helps you to understand their behaviour so you learn to pick up on the signals your dog's giving off. On top of that she's also lovely to work with, always made us feel reassured that we were doing okay as dog owners and we've already recommended her to family and friends. Our puppy is still an overstimulated and anxious ball of energy but we now feel more capable to help him through it.

We've had several dogs in the past but they weren't very well behaved. This time when we bought our 2 Parson Russel Terriers Ozzie and Annie (brother and sister) I wanted to give them the best possible start in life. Thanks to Jo they did! I joined the Precison Program and I booked 2 sessions on top when the program was finished. As they were 2 puppies together, I needed a little bit more guidance.Jo is extremely professional and she can just read dogs so well, it's amazing. She gives you tips and advice throughout the sessions that I use now every day and all day! The sessions were spaced apart perfectly so I could practise and train with them in between.As they are only 8 months old now I might book a few more sessions in the future to keep them (and me) on the right track. Jo has been amazing with our Cockapoo Lola with Resource Guarding and general behaviour problems. I would recommend Jo to anyone. We are new Dog owners and Jo has helped us with so many hurdles we faced. We will keep working on the training with confidence. Jo has kept in contact throughout the training.

I reached out to Jo for help with my newly-adopted, nervy, overseas rescue dog, Bruno, who had a tendency to bark and lunge at people, other dogs and anything he didn't like the look of, generally.We had a series of sessions over nine months and in that time she helped me gain a much better understanding of why Bruno reacted the way he did (because he was scared of everything!), so that I could do a much better job of supporting him. And - with her help - we've made great strides with making the world a less scary place for him using force-free methods. She's understanding, empathetic and helps communicate what it is that your dog is going through with humour and no judgements whatsoever.Although our course of sessions has come to an end, she's still supporting us (with the help of her Dynamic Dog Practitioner qualifications) to get to the bottom of whether pain might be a factor in Bruno's reactions to certain stimuli, and sends us check-in messages to see how we're both getting along.I would not hesitate to recommend Jo's services to anyone.

Recently completed the puppy course, from the start Jo’s communication was 5 star and her helpful tips and hands on training changed everything for us. Our puppy struggled on walks and the battle meant everyone struggled to walk her. Now she’s relaxed and her body language shows she now enjoys her walks. More importantly she does not take us for for a walk now. The whole family has benefited. The whole training experience was positive for both us and our pup. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone needing help with their dog and hope to work with her again in the future
