The Swan Inn
Went to watch Nigel Kennedy at Malvern theatre, so we stayed overnight at the Swan. It is a beautiful, historic place in a small village. We got there early, but that proved no problem as the staff told us we would be able to access the room straight away. The pub has everything you need, great ales and lagers, plus some very good food. We tried a fillet steak & and cod, and they were very good. The bedroom was a reasonable size with everything we needed and a comfortable bed.Overall I recommend anyone to have a stay at this place, the only fault I can point out would be, they did tell us before we left to the concert that the bar would be open until 10.30, we did rush back and managed to get there for 10.25 - unfortunately they'd shut, I can only presume that they'd got no customers after all it was 7th November. But definitely worth a stay.

Great pub with top quality food snd service. The rooms are comfy, dog friendly a good size and well priced! We stayed in Gooseberry which has some kitchen noise until about 9.30ish, not a problem for us.

Great Sunday lunch with vegetarian option, limited gluten free options available, great selection of drinks, few ales and cider, extensive wine list. Staff really lovely and friendly. Dog friendly, large beer garden.

Initially quick to take us to a booked table, present the menus and return with a drinks order. But service deteriorated after that; food was passed over and across the table, and no one returned to take payment after we asked for the bill. The restaurant was emptying out by then, so not sure what the staff were up to. Paid at the bar and left.

Lovely looking pub inside and out, we ordered drinks and food in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, then I had to go to bar to remind them. 10 minutes later, the food come, then I had to Remind them again about our drinks, so felt like we was moaning, so not the best dineing experience.

What an amazing venue and location. Pure beauty and exactly what you would expect from the countryside. Shame, the same cant be said for the staff who quite frankly, were rude and not very warm or welcoming. A friendly smile or hello

Arguably the best pub roast I've ever had. A huge portion of tender lamb with beautifully cooked vegetables and an excellent cauliflower cheese.The smoked salmon mousse starter was also outstanding.The staff were so kind and accommodating and made us feel welcome with our dogs (very dog friendly).We will be back time and time again.

Had a great evening drinking Butty Bach and soaking up the atmosphere of a quality Ale House. We turned up after the restaurant had closed but the kitchen did us a fantastic meze platter after our drive up from Cornwall. 10/10 for service. Thanks for a great evening we'll be back soon
