A very surprising hidden gem in Musselburgh high street. Was skeptical for years to book here until someone recommended it in person and it exceeded my expectations.The atmosphere is good with fantastic staff, menu has a view variety to choose from including the wine list. They show you the cuts available tableside which is a major positive for any steakhouse.Starters such as the scallops and chrozio are great but the octopus is prepared so well. Great selection of cuts that are prepared woodfired or at least on a fantastic cast iron. The T-bone, ribeye and rump are highly recommended. As well as any sauces or sides.Prices are very good for a steakhouse of this caliber including the wine.Advisable to book ahead also. Currently my favorite steakhouse around the area and I will be coming back to try more.

Highly recommend. Waiter brought out different cuts of steaks to view as well as some background on taste and best suited- etc - touch and very helpful. Our steaks were all cooked exactly as requested and were absolutely delicious. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were very polite. Each meal came in perfect timing. Will definitely be back.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Lovely friendly welcome on entering the restaurant. They wished my other half a happy birthday. If you haven't been before they bring out a tray of meat to show you the different cuts. It's really helpful but also adds to the experience. The food is delicious and so tasty. Such a varied menu, there's something for everyone. There's a children's menu too. The service was excellent and was friendly and attentive from start to finish. I highly recommend and we'll be returning soon.I'm only disappointed we haven't visited sooner.

My husband and I will 100% be returning! I'm not a steak fan but my husband is, they have other options so I decided to book for our anniversary.They bring out a tray of all the different cuts and explain what's what and how they recommend it to be cooked.Th food was phenomenal! And the desserts oh my yum!If you haven't been I would highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!EDITNot a steak fan me, had rump tonight (21/9/23) and it was delicious!! Would definitely have it again which isn't something I thought I'd ever say about steak!Fantastic restaurant!! Always leave feeling full and satisfied! Highly highly recommend!EDIT (14/10/23)They have a new small selection of cocktails now available which just adds to all the reasons why this is mine and my husbands favourite place to go!

Heard from a friend about this hidden gem of a steakhouse in Musselburgh and being huge meat lovers we had to give it a visit. We were pleasantly surprised and not disappointed at all. The starters were outstanding and then outclassed by the main course which was well balanced with a fine bottle of red wine. What can be said about a 35 day dry aged steak other than it melts in your mouth. To the staff and the most important one the guru in the kitchen well done we loved every minute and will be back for more.

Knowledgeable, smiley and attentive staff (ask to see the various steaks - amazing), steaks perfectly cooked and delicious, sides all delicious too. Good value. Fantastic place that the owners should be proud of.
