The owner is very kind and concerned about who you are, what you're looking for etc...And I found some little treasures for a ridiculous price.I highly recommend this bookshop!!!!

What a lovely little bookshop. Small and crammed with books - there's not a huge amount to choose from but still a decent and varied selection, all extremely well priced. Relaxed atmosphere means you can pick through the titles for as long as you need to find one (or more) to take home.

Hate to leave a negative review about a book shop but the staff were quite rude to me and had quite a superior attitude. Books are over priced in my opinion but that's probably a reflection of the area. Nice to see a book shop is popular though with the increasing move to kindle and ebooks.

An unprepossessing frontage, 'easy-going,' disheveled interior and space constraints belies an impressive selection of titles .Albeit limited choice, the stock here has been collated by a seasoned 'eye,' unfettered by conventional wisdom. Exploring the unexpected, unfamiliar and oddball rather than exploiting the obvious.Friendly, approachable and attractive pricing. QED

It's a little scruffy around the edges but, for the prices, the selection of second-hand books here is the best in Stoke Newington. I especially like the bargain £1 box - there seem to be plenty of book reviewers who live locally, so you can often find recent literary hardbacks in there, too.

I always have a great time visiting this bookshop, and I always find something unexpected. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable too. Well worth a visit!

This place is a hidden gem. I go about once a week. It's small not much space to move. Has a good art and photography section.

I lived in Stokey for about 10 years and went here weekly! Always interesting titles and helpful staff. After I moved, Tim continued to source some special books for me that I collect. Wish there are more bookshops like this one around.
