Ocean Chinese Takeaway

Eric at Ocean once again provided food and delivery to my care home for Mother’s Day . the food was excellent and the residents really enjoyed it Thank you once again for your generosity it’s much appreciated.

Absolutely PENG. Ordered the Ocean Appetiser, singapore chow mein and special fried rice for my first ever order and was massively impressed. I haven't even had the chow mein and rice yet but 5* already.

I had the hoisin shredded duck as I always do. It was fatty and flavourless. It was also covered in these white bits you can see in the photo, which I’ve *never* seen before. Apparently it’s cartilage... I’m guessing pretty cheap meat. The hoi sin wasn’t great either. Chips are decent though.

Second order from here after the 1st was delicious..I wasn't disappointed.. absolutely delicious 2nd order...staff are also friendly..Will definitely be using again

Just had my first experience with this Chinese. Decided to test a few things of the menu as we have been looking for a good Chinese in the area. I have to say this place hit it out of the park. From the service on the phone and the delivery time. It was amazing, the food came piping hot and everything tasted awesome. We could actually see that each dish was prepared independently due to the way the veg was actually mixed in properly with the food. Not just layer on top like some places. Good size portions and great value. Will definitely be trying more from this place in the future. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks for a great meal.

Nice and friendly staff. Quick service. Foods are authentic Chinese dishes and very delicious. I have ordered salt and pepper squids and fried noodles with sprouts this evening and very satisfied with the quality of the foods.

Used this Chinese about 3 times now. First 2 have been amazing. Erik the manager has been lovely and food has been great. Tonight was an awful experience on the phone :( the young lady who answered was very rude and blunt. Before I could finish saying what I wanted she would cut me off at the end of each item with a sharp “yep” making me feel like I was a bother. I then proceeded to ask to pay half card and half cash as I was splitting it with someone. I could hear her in the background getting annoyed with Erik asking what half of it was. Telling him to hurry up and clearly getting frustrated. Speaking to him in rude way. At the end of the phone call her response was “k bye” then put the phone down. 10 minutes later I rang up again because my normal order comes to £26 but this order was £33. So I rang up asking why this was and all she says was “have you had a new menu” i replied “no” she said ok then put the phone down!!!! I understand prices have gone up but she didn’t explain that was Just really rude. Put me off ordering :( she shouldn’t be working in customer service if that’s how she makes people feel

Had a takeaway from here tonight. It was amazing. Hands down the best Chinese I’ve had. The salt & pepper chicken starter is out of this world. The service was fantasticI highly recommend this place. Why bother going anywhere else when you can go here, you won’t be disappointed

My partner and I are first time customers here and I have to compliment all of the staff for exemplary service from start to finish. Phoned order through and the lady who dealt with it was polite and efficient. The delivery was prompt and the driver was really pleasant and polite. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious. The best we have had from our many years of takeaway food. So well done all and we will see you all soon again when we place another order.

I've just had my first meal from here and I was extremely pleased with the food. It was nice and hot, but most of all, it was absolutely delicious. I will be telling my family and friends to try here and I will definitely be having my Chinese food from here in the future.
