Alexandra perfectly captured our wedding in Derbyshire in September, the photos are beyond our expectations!Neither of us are exactly comfortable with having our photo taken but we were put at ease right from the very first meeting and everything was made so easy and natural on the day. When your own mother thinks the photographer is one of our friends it's definitely a good sign!The photos themselves are beautiful, just as we wanted (lots of natural group shots, not too many posed shots). The website and doc store is also really easy to use and is a great set up.Thank you so much to Alexandra, we're so happy with the pictures and recommend The Crowthers to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.(P.S. the cat posts on Instagram will continue to be appreciated long into the future!!)From James and Karl

I couldn't recommend the Crowthers enough! We asked for two photographers and Alexandra and Hannah were incredible - so many people commented to us how ninja-like they were. We actually wonder how they got some shots as we didn't notice them taking the pictures! And as for the pictures - they are simply stunning. I think my mum summed it up best: They managed to capture the joy of the day." But more than anything they were real sources of support on the day. I'm saying this as a chronic introvert so I don't say this lightly

Callum & Alexandra are amazing at what they do and we would highly recommended them. We felt completely at ease with them from the moment we booked right up to our wedding day. Alexandra photographed our wedding this summer and it was one of the best decisions we made regarding the wedding. As quite awkward, introverted people normally we felt so comfortable and at ease with Alexandra who just immersed herself into the day and captured some of the most amazing candid moments. From the initial zoom meeting we knew we had made the right choice. We had a short time to plan our wedding and spent a lot of that time searching for the right photogapher - we were firstly hooked by the shared love of cats. The meeting itself was so easy and chilled that it was perpetuated through every element of communication from that moment until the big day.The photos are just stunning and truly capture the emotions felt throughout the day. They are everything we could have hoped for!I was such a pleasure to have her apart of our day and we couldn't recommend Alexandra enough for her beautifully candid and natural photographs. I’d like to start by saying I felt like I searched the whole of Great Britain before I came across Alexandra & Callum. To both myself & now husband, our photos and videos were going to be the most important memories of our special day. We wanted to be able to look back and re live it as if we were doing it again. We also wanted our video and photos to match with the same style, so having two different suppliers for this was a no go for me! I suppose everyone has their own preferences. I then felt I found some suppliers, whose prices were just well out of our range.When I finally came across the Crowthers photo & film, I’m not sure how I didn’t come across them sooner ! As they was just across the peak in Sheffield not too far from Manchester ! The style of their photos was 100% what I wanted … but I’d had this same feeling before with other suppliers where I’d been quoted prices far too high. It was a dilemma, and something I defiantly overthought. Do we pay out all this money as it is the most important day or do we continue our search. I’m so glad I stuck it out and made so many enquiries as when I made the enquiry with Callum & Alexandra we had a chat set up and the prices were perfect. We didn’t mind paying more for something we wanted but the prices weren’t nowhere near as much as others. I was so pleased and at ease straight away!From then on communication was brilliant. We had a pre wedding engagement shoot up in the peaks at a fab location recommended by Alexandra. It was lovely to chat to her and just get used to having our photos taken. When those photos came through it was instant relief even more. I literally couldn’t wait for our wedding day! We just knew it would be exactly how we wanted.The day finally came! And it was so organised, this was all to the pre wedding questionnaire! I feel I was such an organised wife anyway ! But this was exactly my cup of tea…. We had all our formal photos done within a short time which gave us so much time to mingle and chat to our guests. We had time then to go for couple photos on two occasions and Alexandra & Callum were just so relaxed and chilled… exactly what we wanted, they was up for anything we wanted to try out… even safe proofing if the field was dry enough for us… then Callum almost sinking into a nearby lake to get the shot !I’m so looking forward to the rest of our wedding album and videos.. I am certain it will be exactly how we want it to be. What an amazing pair! Alex and Callum were utterly amazing to work with. From the get go on the first zoom meeting they put us completely at ease, and had great advice and recommendations on how to make our day special. On the day they fit around us seamlessly and barely noticed them as they did their thing. We had a fab time walking round our venue going to intimate spots for couple photos, having a gossip and a drink and these made for brilliant candid shots while Harry and I got some time just the two of us which was increasingly cherished in such a busy day. Alex wrangled family and traffic like a pro, prompting us all to get the best out of us, and handling some difficult groomsman who got a bit too happy with the microphone. The video captured the day perfectly, and has utterly overwhelmed us with the detail, choosing the best bits of the speeches and readings to soundtrack all the stolen glances and emotion of the day. We are so thrilled to have chosen The Crowthers and so happy with what we’ve come away with.

We recently celebrated our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary (how has it been a year??) and still absolutely love looking back at our amazing wedding photos and video. Callum and Alexandra were amazing from the moment we first spoke with them. On our big day they were so accommodating, worked seamlessly with the church and venue, and were a genuine pleasure to have there with us. When we discussed our wedding initially, having a videographer was something Charlotte was keen for but being on camera was something I was initially unsure about. However, Callum blended in effortlessly and we couldn’t count how many times we’ve watched our video back. It was one of the best decisions we made and we just love it. The Crowthers are such a great team! They were the perfect vibe for us on our wedding day; chilled out, discreet, polite and also up for a laugh with our crazy family! The photos and video are beautiful and all the little touches such as the welcome pack are really thoughtful and lovely. We particularly recommend Callum’s highlight video.. we are completely in love with it and it really does highlight our day perfectly, he has quite obviously taken a lot of time and thought into making sure the video captures the vibe of the day and includes beautiful shots of key guests, something we will really treasure forever.
