We use Oxfam bookshops regularly but the Belper team are our favourites. Lovely atmosphere .. well run and the Team are both courteous kind and for this visit really respectful of why we were making the donation. It’s made a tough weekend just that bit easier!

This shop plays music at around 70dB. I found my shopping experience a frustrating one, for I simply wished to browse the books in peace and quiet instead of having to filter out loud, unnecessary music!Furthermore, I found the price of chess books to be unusually high relative to other books in the shop.Turn the music off and people might stay longer and spend more money.

This is the best place to get books, dvds, games and mobile phones. There is a large range of fiction books to choose from, including general and crime fiction. They have now started to sell small electronics like mobile phones, tablets and handheld games consoles.

I love this place and have been coming in here for books for years. It is off putting when you're after a genre of book and a staff member tells you they take them before they go on the shelf for the public though...

This shop bears investigation by senior management - appears the volunteer team hold some very bigoted and un-Oxfam appropriate views. Please investigate and return this shop to being a safe space.

A wonderful friendly shop with a huge range of books, CDs & DVDs. Always worth a browse - you never know what you will find! And all to help a good cause too.

Abundance of knowlege. Creative decoration making it into books event, using papers making it into artform, floating paper artwork and books rising to the ceiling. A must visit shop when at Belper.

I only ever go in charity shops to look through their CD's and DVD's / Blu rays, and this Oxfam shop is one of the best I've ever been in. The quality of nearly everything in the shop is very good and I've picked up some real bargains and rarities here. I ALWAYS go in when I'm in Belper. Well worth a visit.

A fantastic place for good books and music. Fairly priced and a broad range of genres. Also some rather niche books can be found, plus vinyl records. An excellent shop.
