Higher Blackley Community Centre

Would not recommend the venue at all due to management! Recently booked this hall twice and both times management have been unsure about prices, no formal professional prices in place all made up on the spot, we were told £120 for the hall due an extra half hour/ hour and then due to a higher guest count and they would need an extra cleaner, there was no extra cleaner the hall was tidied up by the members of the party which meant little cleaning left for the owners but they still charged £160 an extra £40 because ‘ apparently an extra cleaner ‘ was needed. But no extra cleaner turned up.Documents were signed at booking of the amount of guests at no time was the cost of £160 mentioned until just a week before party. Was disappointing as everything at the time of booking seemed so nice but later there was a lot of miscommunication and unprofessionalism.

All the socialize staff work really hard and it's a great centre for adults with learning difficulties.

Just watched the Blackley Panto. We really enjoyed it .The cast and the audience had a great time.

Socialise drop in centre for adults with learning disabilities. Amazing work from the staff there. Activities, tuck shop, dance, arts & crafts... excellent service!!!

Used as diabetic eye screening location. Diabetics asked to follow civid rules but other users of Centre were not.

Used to be an amazing place. Just underused and being left to rot like so many other places

It needs a good update I'm sure someone could spare some time and breathe new life into it.
