From the moment they answered the phone (without me even seeing the showroom) I knew I would be getting them to re-design and install my new kitchen. I had spoken to many other companies from the cheap to the eyewatering and this experience was by far the most honest and professional and exactly what I was looking for.I went to the showroom to view the product and it exceeded even the high expectation I had in my mind!The company and everyone they use to fit, plump, paint, plaster etc are all amazing craftsmen and I cannot find a single fault with anything. I got a date for each section of the work being carried out and it all ran like clockwork.The attention to every last bit of detail is perfection and I am totally blown away by the end result. It is my dream kitchen and in todays world, where do you get that with truly amazing service without hiccups??? Its unheard of in the real world - and that's because they are out of this world!!I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat - I cant praise them highly enough!Special thanks to Sharon for all your design and guidance (what taste!), Steve for ensuring every little section is 100% spot on and such a perfectionist, Jo for being my go-to person for any calls etc and being so prompt with everything and project managing all the workforce and to all the workmen, especially Anthony - the quality of how he has painted the hand painted units is stunning!If you want to deal with the most professional company around, without awful salesmen, gimmicks, hidden extras and headaches from no co-ordination of workforce etc.....then Scammels is the ONLY place to go.

Excellent service from kitchen design to installation. Project managed efficiently with coordination of professional tradesmen who all provided a high level of service and accommodated personal changes. we decided to go with Scammell Interiors for a few reasons, the design and quality were fantastic. Sharon gave us some really good ideas and alternatives just what we wanted.The service was very friendly as well as being professional.There was no hard sell, or a percentage off a figure. Everything was itemised and up front.Its a massive project a kitchen but Sharon, Steve and Jo ironed out any of the worries we had.The tradesmen were brilliant. We decided to go with Scammell as we felt they really listened and understood what we wanted, no pressure just understanding and fabulous designs.They have a dedicated project manager (Jo) who was brilliant, if it was in the schedule it happened when it was supposed to, from the delivery to when the tradesman was due. Scammell use only the best, each tradesmen was excellent at they job, friendly and helpful.Sharon and Steve are a great team who are dedicated to giving you the kitchen you want, Sharon has a fantastic eye for the design and colour and Steve can think outside the box and make anything work. Just an amazing experience, could not be happier!

We are new to the area and decided to get a quote from Scammell’s based on other reviews, we weren’t disappointed. It was great working with Sharon on the design as not only does she consider how the kitchen will look but how it will function too. Following on from the design the installation experience has also been excellent. A site visit was made, much earlier from our other experiences with kitchen companies, to speak with the builder, check measurements and services to ensure no nasty surprises at the actual fitting date. The quality of the fitting has been excellent with great attention to detail and Steve monitoring progress along the way. We are so pleased with the final result, a joy to look at and a joy to use.

Kitchen/Utility RenovationAfter the first visit to see Steve & Sharon at their beautiful showroom in York we knew they were the right fit for our project.Steve came to our house and measured the space and discussed ideas with us,Sharon then worked her magic on the design.No stone is left unturned in the design process.We had countless meetings at the shop, numerous phone conversations & emails to ensure your dream turns into reality.Scammell’s are a credit to their industry, with a wealth of experience, knowledge & professionalism, and trust me,they are not happy until you are happy.Jo in the office creates a detailed works schedule, keeps you informed and even checks your items off the delivery wagon at your house.Duncan the fitter was a pleasure to have in the house, he is a true craftsman, very knowledgeable, polite & friendly.(Our dog Teddy looked forward to his fuss when he arrived)To deliver a such a quality product during this difficult pandemic it a testament to their commitment to your project.I can’t recommend Scammell’s highly enough,it was a pleasure working with them and we have already approached them to design some bedroom furniture for us.Paul & Debbie Neal

We have just signed off our new kitchen designed and installed by Scammell Interiors. The whole experience was extremely calm and efficient. We used Scammells as they had come to us highly recommended by friends who had used them recently to remodel their kitchen. Sharon asked what we wanted from the kitchen and then went on to design something which offered practically everything we wanted. After careful probing by Sharon she produced the design which gave us what we wanted and was extremely efficient in the use of the space in an extremely small kitchen area.The choice of kitchen units and appliances was extensive. Once again Sharon helped us with our choices, with alternatives where available or appropriate.Jo, Project Manager gave us the overall fitting schedule so that we knew when different aspects of the work would be started and finished.Steve oversaw the fitting aspect of the work, this went extremely well. The company worked very closely with other tradesmen involved in the kitchen, ie tilers and floor laying. We didn't have any worries about things not working out".We are extremely pleased with the finished kitchen. The workmanship is superb and we have no hesitancy in recommending them for their professionalism and their very personal style of business.
