Tuesday night, what a time. It's choir time which was brilliant. Staff and locals were brilliant, made my friends and I welcome. I would recommend if your in the area to pop in.

Friendly pub with a vibrant atmosphere. They had a skittles game which my mate said was the most annoyingist, but he's drunk and so am I. I will deffo return and recommend. Pizza is also available.

Friendly pub, nice beer, good skittles table. They don't open the lounge side during the week, so not so good for a quiet chat. Not a problem for me, just saying.

A lovely friendly and welcoming local pub serving a very well kept drop of decent real ale. Rev James was lovely. Walking distance from the canal too

The pub has recently changed hands and has improved in every way. The inside has been freshened up with a coat of paint. There's a marquee in the courtyard for shelter from the best of British summer weather, and a large beer garden when the sun does shine. They still have the same great bands/musicians playing frequently that provide fantastic entertainment on some evenings and weekends. Finally, the quality of the beer has greatly improved!

Great crack in there last night. Cosy local pub, full of locals. Good beer on tap. They have entertainment on at the weekends... elvis tributes etc. No trouble in there at all. The only problem is they dont accept card payment, and the nearest cashpoint is morrisons which is about 5 miles away which is tremendous when 7 pints deep. Great staff though.

Great place for great ales and pub grub.Visited of a lunch time which was fairly deserted, so can't say how popular the pub would be of an evening of course.
