Beautiful little beach, came on a sunny but cloudy day and loved it here. Paid £5 for parking, not a massive car park but space available. Little ice cream shop was really reasonably priced (Marshfield ice cream). public toilets available.

Great beach here, with lovely historical ruins of a church next to it.Good refreshments, and a short (3/4 mile) walk to Pwllgwaelod Beach which has a very good pub. Alternatively you can do the longer walk round Dinas Head, which has stunning views.Would advise arriving promptly as the car park fills up quickly on sunny days

Wind swept, bright sunshine and bracing views. A walk from the Old Sailor pub around Cwm Yr Eglwys is a nice 5km circuit. Well worth the walk for the views. There are a few bits that you need to step carefully.

Walked from Newport to Cwm yr Eglwys along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath. Stunning views along the path from the cliff tops and the beaches/bays. Sat on the benches on the sea wall having an ice cream as a reward before walking back to Newport. Highly recommend the walk and the ice cream ( but make sure you bring cash as the ice cream van does not accept debit cards).

Nice quiet beach, parking available for £5, which goes to RNLI. Lovey clean water and places to dive from. Kayak, paddle board and boat launching available.

Such a lovely little bay looking out to the sea with it's church ruins above the beach. A perfect place to sit and relax here, take a circular walk around Dinas Head, or adventure out amongst the coves. It's a popular destination for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Be aware that there's very little sand at high tide.We arrived down the narrow lane at the honesty-box car park (and toilets) and set up to canoe eastwards. The parking area has enough spaces for around twenty to thirty vehicles, so can get full quickly. As an alternative, it's a short drive West to Pwllgwaelod beach with free parking if there's no spaces left here. After setting off, we had a great afternoon exploring the coast and small beaches near here.We were fortunate to have the company of a small family of dolphins on our return to the cove. Beautiful surprise as we got back as they swam around Cwm yr Eglwys bay for around an hour. Keep your eyes open if you stop by here, as dolphins are often seen along this coastline.Well worth spending the day here, but be prepared to get here early to get a parking space if the weather is fine.

Such a beautiful little gem. There is precious little to see, but everything to be seen is precious. The history of the church and graveyard is heartbreaking in so many ways and the words in the remaining gravestones speak of a community of a different era. There is an easy signposted walk suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs over to the next cove which is well worth a visit.
