Isambard Brunel Multi-Storey Car Park

Really useful place, they have these gaps which are very slightly larger than a car, which makes it an ideal place to leave it. The only drawback is the concrete pillers that stop you from opening the car door. If you are going to a show I'd advise you to pay parking in advance, as the queues for the ticket machine can be rather long.

Decent sized car park but really needs more than one pay machine. We left a gig at the Guildhall and then had to queue for over half an hour to pay for the car parking. Something like a RingGo system would work too.

Well, it’s a car park. Tighter than some but by no means the worst. If attending an evening even at the Guildhall beware the long queue to pay, which can be avoided by purchasing an exit ticket in the venue.

Used the car park as I was going to a show at the Guildhall and they do validated parking for £6. Location was very good but there are very sharp corners for the up and down ramps. Really difficult to get out of a space on the lower levels after the show because all cars from the upper floors are coming down and seem very reluctant to let you out (think we waited 10 minutes and then I just pushed infront of someone else who had been let out a couple of spaces down). I'm sure it's also frustrating for the drivers coming down from the upper floors as there's only one way out. It's a shame the Guildhall don't do validated parking for anywhere else which might spread the 'load' after shows finish.I wouldn't recommend parking in the multi-storey if you're going to a show at the Guildhall (ie where everyone leaves at the same time)

It's a carpark. Plenty of space

Parked here while we stayed at the premier inn for 2 nights absolutely brilliant we had the ticket validated by the hotel so we only paid £9 instead of £24 nothing can beat that price

This car park is owned by Portsmouth council. It is nice with a good number of spaces including disabled bays.It is easy to navigate the car park and the entry and exit points are well marked out.Spaces are of a reasonable width so pretty much any car can fit in it without being too close to a neighbouring vehicle.Although it isn't secure like the adjacent multi-storey car park, it is next to a police station so there is some peace of mind to be had from that

Overall a pretty good secure car park. Bit pricey but always spaces and easily accessible and pretty central location. Corners are a bit tight though.

Reliable, always some space, good location. But you'd better be a good driver....it's really tight with some nasty blind give-ways.

Be aware when you use this car park difficult to drive in and out very tight bends AND BEWARE there are only 3 pay machines and when you come out of the guild hall there will be a queue which could make you run over your time . A rip off !!! They must make a lot of money on theatre nights . Take advantage of having your car park ticket stamped it will save you a fortune.
