Baches Solicitors LLP

The worst solicitors I have had to deal with. I used them to sort out my mom's estate and it was a nightmare (which is an understatement). It's taken over 2 years and there was lots of false promises. Even making the final payout I've had to chase them as there were numerous errors and even then I was short changed. I would suggest going elsewhere especially as a few of the negative reviews are based on the probate service which is not surprising. I will definitely be making another formal complaint at some point as not the level of service I would expect and is definitely not what you need when grieving and trying to finalise everything.

My representation from this firm has been fantastic. I have gained exceptional, positive outcomes in children's and non-molestation matters. I could not recommend Mr Hayat enough. He has been an excellent support and advisor to my family for over 2 years. All parts of the service provided have been outstanding.

Very poor service took nearly 4 years to sort out my grandads will 3 and half years to claim for my grandads life insurance. Then sadly my gran passed away they kept delaying giving us the will so we could send it to the estate agents when we eventually got the will it was for the wrong person not my gran there attitude was wriop it up took another 2 weeks to eventually get the right will the solicitor involved won't even talk to you or respond to emails my gran passed away 2 and half years ago and we are still waiting for them to apply for the grant of probate. I would never recommend them also when my aunty passed away in 2p18 I took them her death certificate bank cards bank statement birth certificate and guess what they lost it all promised to replace them free of charge because would be needed for probate and as of May 2022 they still haven't when I contacted the register Office they have never applied for them then as of October 21 2022 still waiting for grant of probate the solicitor who was dealing with it left never told us only because I chased them up I was informed qhe left 3 to 4 weeks before hand the new solicitor never contacted me to even say he was taking over the case and Jo Johnson I have been waiting for a call back from since JuneI would 100% definitely not recommend this company to anyone my aunty passed away 4 years in December and they still haven't got things sorted I had exactly the same problem when my grandad passed away and still going through it with my grans estate and its been 2 years.update July 2023 still not got my aunty's probate sorted who we sadly lost December 2018 keep away from these solicitors so many false promises and lies emailed jo on the 20th July still waiting for response contacted reception 27th July promised would get jo to contact me that day or the 28th and surprisingly no response as you can see responding to other reviews but can't respond to mine because they know how they have messed up spoke to the solicitor involved again today 10 August still not sorted put a formal complaint in to the company and what a joke of a reply that was made out they applied for death certificate 8 weeks after losing it got proof over 6 months later still hadn't been applied for blamed hmrc for taking up to 20 weeks it's been going on 5 years and still not sorted with hmrc also tried to blame covid avoid this company at all cost

Baches are the kind of solicitors who are hard to get in touch with for weeks after making an initial call and requesting documents is not worth dealing with. After chasing a response, they try to demand money out of the blue via e-mail. A month later, after trying to speak to them about money, I get gaslighted and told that I'm the problem because I never paid them. These people are sick!

This company has a camera controlled carpark that operates beyond their opening hours. Therefore, if you pull on to it, you'll be fined by a parking company. I wonder if this shows that a company that acts like this is all about making money and nothing to do with ethics or justice or just being kind to the community?NB: the first part is factual and in the public domain. The last part is a question.

I would highly recommend Mr. Hayat as legal representation in a child custody arrangement. He has recently represented me, and I found him to be patient, informative and extremely professional. He paid close attention to detail in my case, as such matters require. From the start, he maintained that he believed we would achieve a positive outcome. He delivered very well in my matter, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

I have received consistent excellent service from Baches over a number of years now. Even in the unprecedented issues caused by Covid lockdowns and restrictions their service has been second to none. Initially some years ago in the writing of my parents Wills, and more recently with Sharan Sohal in the dealing with subsequent Probate and estate distribution matters, Also , Sharan's expertise in additionally preparing of my wife's and my Wills.

I am writing this review to commend and praise the work of Baches - namely Ms Jo Johnson, who is a managing partner and solicitor for the firm. Having been recently represented by Ms Johnson and Baches for professional matters, I was delighted by the responsive and dedicated manner in which she worked, always ensuring that her work was measured and employed a human approach for both myself and other parties. Ms Johnson was the consummate professional as she was thoroughly prepared, knew the detail of the case and I felt the absolute confidence of her representation in court. Ms Johnson walked me through every step of the process with care, diligence and the highest levels of communication. It is without doubt or hesitation that I would recommend Baches and particularly the services of Ms Johnson.
