The doctor wanted me to walk out with a open wound. It was only because I pointed out that my bandage and dressing were in the bin. She the doctor was really put out by the fact that she had to do some work. She came back with a large plaster. Which is the reason why it became infected originally. I asked for a pair of scissors to cut it in half. She said no. I have gone to the doctors for advice and treatment and she would not prescribe me any bandages or dressings. I was told no nurse was on duty and they said that no appointments were available for this week. So I am not any wiser on how I should be treating an open infected wound. I just hope that no member of anyone's family gets the same treatment especially elderly. Sent out with an open infected wound with no treatment or even advice on how to treat myself. Apart from telling me that I could buy bandages from a chemist. She really didn't want to have to any actual work. Absolutely disgusting and I have made an official complaint as I really believe that someone will die one day because of this doctors attitude. Just hope its not a elderly person

You have sent out text messages stating GP services are to concentrate on the covid booster vaccine until the end of the year. You will be running on skeleton staff and routine appointments rearranged for the new year. This is fine and quite understandable if it were true. When one attempts to book a booster at this surgery there are no appointments available. Why do you persist in lying to your patients? Absolute joke of a place.

An absolute joke of a doctors, everytime I request a repeat prescription I have never receive it, or it’s never enough… it’s not just now and then it’s EVERY TIME, I even had an appointment with the GP to discuss how important and we cleared it up and was assured this won’t happen anymore… 8 months this has been going on!!!!!!!!!!

Nice reception staff but the doctors are awful. Refused medication and treated like health issues I'd had for 20 years didn't exist. Made to feel worthless and suicidal by there lack of treatment and way they talk down to you.

What is the point of having an appointment time if the clinic is never run on time!! Every appointment I've booked in the last nearly 3 years has been at least 20 minutes late, last time I made an appointment for my 2 year old daughter we were still waiting 55 minutes after her appointment time with no explanation and no apology. The young girls running the reception are vile and rude for no apparent reason, the doctor doesn't have a clue. Boycott at all costs worst doctor's surgery in Stoke ever!!

I have been registered with this surgery from the day I was born. When Dr Candlish was running it I never had any of the issues that I do know. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone. Before COVID-19 it was a nightmare. When I got an appointment. I mean if I ever managed to get an appointment to see my doctor I was waiting between 45 minutes and 1 hour and half hours after my appointment time before she sure me. That is ridicules. When Dr Candlish was running the max awaiting time I had was 10 or 15 minutes at most never that long. It has gone down see ever since the change of doctor and the merge with other surgeries. With the Patient Access thing, that's anything massive pain to think about. I can't even make an appointment to see the doctor or for another services. Absolutely ridicules.

On 3 occasions, due to something I won't go into here, both podiatry clinic and outpatients have required me to take medication urgently. On all 3 occasions, the doctor has responded incredibly quickly, on the last occasion, it happened before my lift from outpatients got me home, and the outcome of my situation could have been much worse. However, it can be frustrating to get a routine appointment though, and same with fit notes, I think this is down to workload and capacity.

absolutely shocking serviceSo I left feedback with regards to cancelled appointments etc, and the branch manager offered a meeting which I was more than happy to do, but the only meeting was during the working day and the receptionist suggested if there was anything I can do with work!!! This is unacceptable I have to make the time back and if you require the feedback then you should be a bit more flexible as this will help the practice to improve, currently you are rated 1 and half stars on google. I think it may be worth reading the reviews and what reviews other practices have and compare you may be able then to increase your rating.

I was trying to make an appointment several times on different hours. In the morning I rang about 20 times in a row to get the busy line tone. So I decided to go the the surgery but I said I will ring while walking. I was number 4 on  the queue when I step in the surgery.... And surprise there was no phone ringing and from reception nobody was on the phone . When I mentioned the answer was oh but I am not on the phone" really Sherlock?? So managed to make an appointment as usually nothing available on the day or next day or ever... so as usually I had an appointment at Longton Cottage Hospital (previously been several times to Bradwell Hospital) and as usually I've been send back to my Gp because is the only one who can help me with my problem. So... tomorrow I need to start this all over again."
