A gem of a pub with amazing food and dog friendly inside and out. The garden benches outside have a great view over the beach. Kids play area in the corner. We had dinner inside which had a great local atmosphere by the bar. We had the Fish Gratin, whole mackerel with fennel coleslaw, tomato pasta and garlic bread for the kid. All the food was fresh, delicious and brilliant value too. Lots of the food in the menu looked lovely. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

Went for lunch. Loved the food and the staff attitude. Booked for Sunday lunch as a result of first visit. Excellent though unusual method of organising the carvery. If I'm in the area again I would return.Overnight stays, £125 to £150 a night a bit too expensive for me not sure if it included breakfast. But if you can afford it I think you'd be very pleased with the accommodation.

My husband came here many years ago and suggesting going and so we decided to go for lunch while visiting the beach as it just sits the other side of the road.Plenty of space outside to sit, as well as inside. Little play area/sand pit at the end for kids to use. The menu was reasonably priced and it’s order at the bar. Dog friendly too.We ordered the grilled mackerel (beautifully cooked, the fennel slaw was lovely) and the fish gratin which was had a lovely flavour and very filling. We were impressed and would definitely come here again if in the area.Poor photos attached!

We stopped here for lunch after exploring all the sea caves at Mawgan Porth. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the staff are friendly. We sat outside and the views to the beach are gorgeous.

I didn't stay in the hotel. However, I was brought here by local friends for a drink and to eat. Customer service was amazing as friendly and knowledgeable staff on what they offer. If/ when I return to Newquay, I certainly would visit again.

I arrived at 5.15pm and was lucky enough to get a table outside in the sunshine. My daughter and family arrived 10 minutes later. They also have a dog, as the venue is dog friendly with water bowls aroundWe ordered meals our meals at 6pm and they arrived shortly after. We were all pleased with our meals, very enjoyable.I would recommend this venue

Booked just the one night after seeing family locally. The staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful. An excellent evening meal and very comfortable, clean room with en suite. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing staff, amazing menu, amazing pub, amazing everything. The staff here are so amazing. When our dog started choking, they sprang up to help and I am so grateful. They’re incredible and the food here is definitely worth more than every penny paid. The location is incredible with a nice beachside view. 10/10 from me.

Very welcoming and managed to fit us in last minute for a Sunday roast. Absolutely fantastic food and amazing value for money. Staff were all super friendly and even gave my dog a lovely treat. Thank you!
