Ray has done a nice job of re-heeling my walking boots. Hopefully the heels will stand the test of time. Really nice guy. Can't comment on price as I didn't shop around as I was more concerned about using a traditional cobbler to do the repair on an item that is so important to me.

I just picked up my boots. When I dropped them at the shop I wasn’t expecting too much he quoted £27.95 for them to be fixed. They needed to be re-soled, re-heeled and the leather of the boot was coming away from the sole. I had previously been charged around the same at a well known high street chain for them to do a pretty shoddy job. However when I picked them up today I was amazed. They look fantastic.I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone.

Best repairs I have had in Surrey and Hampshire over the last 20 years. If you want a quality repair that will last, then go to Magpie (be aware, cash only). Yes, you might get cheaper elsewhere, but believe me, you're better off paying a little more for something that will last much longer. Although no longer working locally, I travel 20 miles (each way) to bring my boots here for repair, which says a lot. Just picked up an old pair today and they look better than they did when they were new.

Came here to get a leather bag repaired on the go before catching a train. I went to have a coffee and came back 30 mins later. The bag was professionally fixed for 5£. Very nice experience!

Superb service / superb job. This is not a place you go to for a 'cheap' job.You'll pay a reasonable price and receive an excellent job. This chap is a craftsman .... proper 'old-school' type who does things as they should be done. He returned a pair of (old) Barker shoes to me looking like new. Couldn't be happier with the work.
