Went to this restaurant after seeing it on Celebrity Masterchef. A wonderful place to dine, staff friendly and will explain what the dishes are. Had to book afew weeks in advanced. Lovely atmosphere and decorated tastefully

We come across Hoppers Soho, an authentic and origin Sri Lankan cuisine, while strolling around Soho district in London, that’s where you wanted so much to try out from the first impression. Not only the cuisine itself are crafted delicately, every element inside the interior space is uniquely and beautifully selected, including the rest room areas! The Lamb Shank Buriani Raita is lovely, well-balanced and the rich aroma taste is melted impeccably within and I’m sure it will be remembered for a long time! It is a humble and down to earth Michelin starred restaurant. Definitely, one of the best Sri Lankan / South Indian cuisine in the world.

The place was suggested to me a few times by colleagues and friends, so gave it a try. The dishes are authentic, but the portion sizes are so small and I don't think it is worth the price. Could be a one time try if you fancy a Srilankan or South Indian cuisine, but it is not worth the hype it has.

At this price point I would expect much more. But if you do visit, focus on the starters. We had most starters but particularly enjoyed butter squid, mutton rolls (quite filling) and chilly paneer. I also enjoyed the lassi, although if you don’t like a strong coconut flavour I would avoid. All of the curries were mild and lacked any intense flavour. The spices need to cook longer and generally they need to bhun the curry fully. None of them stood out.The chocolate dessert was so rich I would split it between three people. Most people left theirs half eaten. One or two bites is enough. It would have gone really well with the a chai but they didn’t have any.

Authentic, unpretentious, and (oh so) delicious are the three words that come to mind when describing our experience at this restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we could tell from the menu that our taste buds were in for a treat. Fortunately, the friendly team was on hand to help us avoid over-ordering.For starters, we enjoyed the Hot Butter Squid and Chicken Chettinadu Bites. The buttery squid and crispy chicken were a perfect combination of flavors and textures. For our mains, we shared the Prawn Kari and paired it with String Hoppers, Dosa, and Roti. I mean, why not try all three? It was all so delicious that we couldn't resist. Don't forget to add on the Pol sambol, paired fabulously with the hoppers & dosa. And, make sure you save some room for the chocolate biskut pudding. Finally, we want to give a shoutout to the team for their exceptional care and hospitality. They always checked in on us with a smile and made our dining experience truly memorable. Thank you, and we can't wait to visit again the next time we're in London.

Way too overpriced for what you get.I ordered three things:1. Masala Dosa (£9)It looks big, but it's only a quarter of the dosa that has fillings.2. Upcountry Aubergine Kari (£9.50)It's very small, like a woman's palm size bowl. And the food wasn't very warm when it was served. Literally, it was just aubergine pieces in sauce. Even a curry set sold at supermarkets tastes better!3. Coconut chutney (£1.50)+Service charges (12.5%)I wouldn't go back. Nothing special. Very plain.

Food was good, but some of the kari dishes are not as good as before. Drinks are excellent albeit small and average compared with London prices. Seating was much more spacious than before the COVID era. You can also book for earlier seating in advance now, which means I no longer need to queue for an hour just to get into a virtual queue. Service was excellent as usual.

What an amazing find. We went here for a collaboration with Jack Stein (Rick's son) for the Cornish Crab Curry. It was amazing food and the clientele were great. We sat and chatted with our fellow diners on our table and shared the feast. Wonderful experience.

Delicious Sri Lanka food. It is better to go in a group, so you get to try a bit of everything. The black pork kari and any hoppers were the highlight of the dinner next to interesting cocktails

Came here on Sunday dinner in party of four. We decided to take their set menu at £42/person (normally for 8, but adjusted accordingly). More food than we can eat. And all full-flavor, though the bone marrow and curries were surprisingly under salted to my palate.Service was excellent, and accommodating to our every needs. Place is small, cozy, and tastefully decorated.
