Cardiff Queen Street
Busy branch line station that all trains in Cardiff go through. Has a cafe and toilets.

The nearest station to the city centre. Its straight into the city centre and all of it's shops and facilities. There are waiting rooms, toilets and a coffee shop

Bought a ticket to Penrhiwceiber. Trains got cancelled, and I had to take a rail replacement bus instead. The driver skipped that stop saying they have been instructed to do so, went to Mountain Ash instead. Had to walk 25 mins back to my place with heavy luggage. Just because you have switched to rail replacement bus, doesn't mean you should skip stops that tickets were published for. Imagine a customer saying I only got £4.5 for a £5.5 ticket. Can I get on the train? I'm pretty sure no. Keep the same energy, please.

5 platform station. Can go to The Valleys, Cardiff Bay, Penarth. Very basic station, the cafe jd closed which is annoying. Great location very near main shopping street.Needs more seats and more bins.

I know. I've reviewed the Central Station by mistake not Queen Street Station.Anyway, I've never liked Cardiff Central Station. I don't know why but it's not very impressive given that this is the major Station for the Principality. It doesn't have any majesty at all. It just hides behind the Central Bus Station which used to also have the Coach Station but that has gone now. I'll have to visit it again and see if the area has been improved. The BBC in Wales have a new Television centre opposite the Station.

Didn't like this station, it has no real structure or interest to it, and a festering air of misery. I do think Cardiff public transport is very overpriced for what you get.

Very grateful to the kind gentleman on the ticket booth who spent time booking my train tickets for me (- I'd received some National Rail vouchers from previous cancelled trains and so needed to buy my tickets in person rather than online to redeem the vouchers). Hats off to this gentleman who made sure to check the details thoroughly with me and was polite throughout the process. He even gave me a ticket holder to keep all my tickets safely together! He's a credit to the staffing team. Thanks very much!!
