I recommend not to pay in advance. If you leave earlier, you will not see a refund. In addition, there is no reason to make a reservation because there are few to no guests. The camping meadow (only thistles and nettles) is very remote and there is no open space for children to play. Sanitary is neat.

What a fantastic campsite! The pitches are spaced well apart in a beautiful meadow. It’s so peaceful. The toilet and shower facilities were great - spacious and spotless. It’s close to lovely beaches and interesting historical sites, and easy to get supplies from nearby Newport or Cardigan. The owner is really welcoming and gave us lots of helpful local information.I would wholeheartedly recommend spending some time at Bryncoed Camping!

This is a fantastic 'rewilded' campsite in a beautiful peaceful location with beautiful views, good clean facilities, and a friendly and helpful host. There's lots of outdoor things to do locally including beach days at sandy and vast Newport beach and Poppit sands, walking and swimming at Dinas Head peninsula, kayaking at Cardigan, and our highlight a daytrip out to Skomer, about an hour's drive away.Cardigan and Newport both have good facilities and places to eat.The campsite only has about 10 pitches spread across a large area so it always feels very peaceful. There's also lots of great birds and other wildlife on the site.We had an amazing time and I'd totally recommend it.

We camped at Bryncoed twice in 2021, it was so good we had to go back! It was during Covid times, and that was all really well handled. The facilities are all good quality, clean and well explained. The campsite is well placed for visits to Newport, Dinas Head, New Quay, Cardigan, Fishguard etc. Very close to Castell Henllys and other fab historic places to visit. We love the biodiversity of the campsite, and the spacing of the pitches, where you can hardly see the next pitch next door. Lovely feeling of peace. Highly recommend!

Lovely peaceful campsite, with plenty of space and very helpful host. Off the beaten track but very convenient location for the beach at Newport and the coast path as well as the Preseli hills.

An excellent campsite with a green vision. Pitches situated in a rewilded meadow free from traffic noise and light pollution. A great to find peace.

We camped at Bryncoed in half term 2023 and it was glorious.Cleo’s campsite is about a kilometre outside the tiny but beautiful village of Nevern, where you can feel a great historical importance but these days there’s only a pub and a cluster of houses. The campsite is part of the Greener Camping Club and the site is a great advocate for this type of camping. There are no cars where the tents are, the site has its own bore water, everything is recycled where possible, and where there are no camping pitches the fields are re-wilded.As a result you’re most likely to be woken by the dawn chorus than anything else. That said, there are hot spacious showers, washing up facilities and a freezer in the communal block.Nearby you have the slightly boujis town of Newport and it’s wide sandy beach (you can walk there through fields if you have 1 hour). There’s Dinas Head, a Neolithic chamber at Pentre Ifan, the pretty fishing village of lower fishguard, and the highlight of our week was a trip to Skomer with its dense colonies of seabirds which is about a one hour’s drive away.On top of that Cleo is a lovely host.If you like camping in order to get away from everything in a beautiful location then you needn’t look further than this site! 5*

I would say that during our five nights there were positives and negatives. The camping field is lovely, pitches are well spaced out and the location is very quiet. Pitches compared with other sites were slightly smaller, our tent touched both sides of the circular pitch. The access road is very tight with sharp gorse bushes intruding from the sides and long grass growing in the middle, but parking is easy and well laid out. There are two toilets and two showers, unfortunately they are together, so one toilet and one shower are in the one room. This means that when you wake up in the morning desperate for the toilet you may not be able to use it due to someone taking a shower. The shower works on a push button, one push lasts for 8 seconds, so it just starts getting warm at the end of 8 seconds. If you forget to push it again, the cycle starts from cold again. The toilet blocks are very clean but if you are small or have a child you won’t be able to lock the door as the bolts are right at the top.Kitchen facilities inside are very good, sink, drainer, freezer, and information board. The sink outside is just a sink so there is nowhere to stack or drain your pots and pans.Nevern is a lovely place to stay, and I can recommend the Trewern Arms Hotel for food and drink. They have a lovely Beer Garden; staff are nice, and they stock a wide selection of real ales and real ciders.
