Village Vet

AWFUL!! One poor dog bleeding from its nose in the waiting area, staff knew as I had told them incase they didn’t. Didn’t seem bothered and had no rush to cleaning the area! Went for a full health check and my dog had his stomach listened to, not sure why. Must have been around a 3 second check! I have a GSD and I was expecting his joints, hips, teeth, ears, eyes all to be checked out during this “full health check”. Was asked if he did tricks as if he’s a circus monkey, I replied yes but he’s still learning of which the “nurse” replied well it’s yes or no! Very unprofessional, awful experience! I’ll be cancelling my direct debit and moving on to somewhere far more appropriate for my doggo and a more professional environment! Absolutely horrendous!

I was able to make a next day appointment. The nurse we saw was so kind and gentle with our cat.She answered all our questions with understanding and gave us some options re treatment.which we appreciated.This was our third visit to Whittlesford Practice and has always been easy to park.

Natasha Cairns saw our lovely boy Sparky this morning who was very unwell and helped us so much with deciding what was best for his care. She was very reassuring when we were distressed and explained everything needed to know clearly and with so much respect. We are very grateful that she helped us send Sparky off with such dignity, love and care. Thank you ❤️

Same day appointment offered. Really friendly caring staff. Parking easy. The vet recommended that we started with painkiller and anti inflammatory for George's poorly leg rather than x rays, but she also checked that we were happy with her recommendation. Probably saved us a lot of money as the treatment seems to have worked.

We have taken our dogs to this practise for 20 years. They have given us the best care and support throughout our dog's lives. We have a rescue Collie Cross and a Golden Doodle. The receptionists, nurses and vets give them the best care and keep us informed.

Caring & professional. Our beloved cat is nearing the end of his life & compassion & gentleness is so appreciated. They have cared for our pets their whole lives & are always so helpful & kind.

Our ginger tomcat Colin was involved in a car accident and was treated by Village Vets at Whittlesford. The staff there were amazing, extremely friendly and professional and very understanding of our distress. Hermann in particular was amazing with Colin and really took the trouble to get to know him. I cannot recommend this vet's practice enough.

My cat was at end of life and they fitted us in last minute just before closing on a Sunday evening so we could give her a calm passing. Everyone we spoke to was so compassionate and caring and I felt like my baby would be taken care of until her cremation. It was hardest decision I have ever had to make and they helped make the process easier.

Goodness I'm so grateful to this vets for helping me find my two lost dogs. A million thank yous

We just left after taking our cat there (he died on the way) but the staff was super sweet and understanding and I would highly recommend them.
