This is my 2nd year using Elcombe Firewood and I cannot recommend them enough. Run by lovely, polite and friendly people. Delivered promptly by polite and friendly people; nothing appears to be an issue. The logs are stacked beautifully (good enough to be a piece of artwork!) in my extremely awkward shaped log shed. Nothing too much bother. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Great logs. Quick and hassle free delivery. Brilliant! Thank you! I'll be back.

I've been ordering wood from these guys for a few years. I've tried both the seasoned and kiln-dried - the kiln-dried has the lowest moisture content out of all the local wood providers that I have tried, I use it for both my indoor open fire and outdoor BBQ needs. Their dr. heat" firelighters are essential.Great timely local deliver for free in Stroud with a 1m3 load+++ I've even had them call me within a minute of placing the order to ask if they can send the wood right away!"

I recently contacted Elcombe Firewood for the first time and spoke with Luke who I found not only extremely friendly and helpful but very knowledegable about the product I required for my LOGBURNER and OPEN FIRE. Luke advised me on the best products for my situation and arranged delivery in a succint and orderly fashion arranging with the delivery driver tounload my firewood to make life as easy as possible. I appreciate the incredible service received from Elcombe Firewood for the following reasons:1) they delivered so quickly; every other provider seems to take weeks to deliver;2) they delivered exactly what I asked for, i.e., small logs that I can carry easily and that can fit in my small log burner, all beautifully evenly cut3) the chaps stacked the wood perfectly and neatly and promptly and politely4) they delivered somewhat far away for their usual zone, but quickly nonetheless5) the wood burns hot and is clearly well seasoned, unlike the very young, green wood that so many companies sell that smoulders and smokes and goes out6) the amount delivered was on par with the amount ordered, and thus the value per cubic metre is genuineI have struggled with wood providers who bring wood that is too big for my stove (despite being asked for the right size) and very green and hard to burn. And as someone who really needs heat, Elcombe's excellent service has made me very happy - and warm! Thank you for being a really great, genuine, honest business with true integrity.
