Hillside animal sanctuary | Hillside Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1995 to help and campaign for animals in need' and most importantly, to bring public awareness to the millions of animals suffering every day in the intensive factory farming industry. Although at Hillside we have given sanctuary to 2500 horses, ponies and donkeys, many of our residents have been rescued from the farming industry..

Animal charity in Norfolk village of Frettenham - which is approx ten miles of NorwichThey usually have open days during summer but sadly due to covid not this yearI went to take donation for their shop (in Sheringham) - donations are always welcomeOr good place to adopt a dog, cat etc

An amazing sanctuary for animals and a wonderful place to visit that is fun for the whole family. Lots of animals (the farm is bigger than you think), with the story of how the animal were rescued. Pleasant cafe, shop, and lots of bric-a-brac stalls as well, helping to raise funds.

Best time of year to go. Everywhere dry, green and lush. Animals looked very sleek and healthy. Huge selection of books for 50p, bric a bracelet shop, small ice cream and snack bar and gift shop. No entry fee, but opportunities to make a donation to a very worthwhile charity.
