Longwater retail park storeVisited today to find Hardly any hot food or rolls/sandwiches but if that was not bad enough the actual staff that were working needs to be retained in how to act in the workplace disgusting behaviour by a male and female employee older lady who seemed to be the only one doing any actual work was serving a older male customer upon our arrival while two other employees a younger male and female decided to start a squabble between themselves behind the counter all while myself and my companion were waiting to be served and the older male customer was actually being served. The male employee then decided to throw yes throw a cold cooked sausage he had found across the work space behind the counter straight at the young female employee in front of myself and my companion by the time I finally got served by the young female employee which the squabbling from both employees continued throughout my wedges were in fact cold the shop floor was in a complete mess and behind the counter didn’t look very clean either we sat down to eat having to wipe the table down ourselves beforehand but actually ended up leaving with in minutes taking our food with us and we did not want to stay and listen to the unprofessional staff members that were working

This a brilliant location for a Gregg's. Situated on the Longwater retail park opposite the Boots. The staff are very friendly and you get served quickly. They have new items on the menu that other Gregg's don't have like new breakfast options.

Female staff member highly lacking in customer service. Politely requested 2 x vegan sausage rolls. Informed bluntly ‘we don’t have any of them’ … that was it, no truly sorry we have sold out, no we haven’t got any but we should have some ready in ‘x’ amount of minutes!Decided to to leave the store and travel to Greggs on Unit 2 Harford Place, Hall road.Staff were polite, happy, engaging and the store was in good working order. The Longwater store could learn a lot from this store, Greggs is seen as a treat in our family due to our son being an Anaphylactic Greggs is one of the few places he can have a sausage roll he likes. Added to the fact my Husband is a born and bred Northumbrian and Greggs is King over many other food outlets.A trip to a Newcastle Greggs would certainly show your Longwater staff what engaging customer service is and how customers will reciprocate great service with a smile and gratitude.

Small Gregg's outlet, situated in the rear of the large carpark at Longwater. The shop has enough seating for about 12 people at a squeeze, and has a single toilet just wide enough for wheelchair access. All the usual food and drink is available. Staff were very friendly.
