Kumon Maths & English

My daughter age 8 has been attending the Kumon school for over a year. The topic of study was Maths and during this year I have seen her go from strength to strength in this subject. The Kumon School has taught her to take responsibility for her learning by completing her worksheets on a daily basis. Seeing her confidence grow has been rewarding. As a parent I can relax in the knowledge that I am doing something that supports her learning. Sumeeta runs an excellent school supporting all types of abilities. We have now enrolled my daughter on the English program as it will support her for the Transfer Test. I would highly recommend the Kumon School to other parents.

Kumon has really helped my 10yr old not only during lockdown but also with providing focus and structure to his learning. It has been invaluable in supporting us for transfer test preparation this year.Sumeeta's dedication and passion for her students has had a great impact on James and he is now much more motivated to learn (even during the holidays)!!

Sumeeta has been very accomodating and flexible with us as we travel quite a distance to attend Kumon. This includes classes via Zoom and only having to travel once every two months to collect worksheets. Sumeeta takes an active interest in our child's progression with regular feedback and support. We've seen a huge improvement in our child's performance at school. Would highly recommend enrolling your child.

Foyle Kumon is a wonderful centre. Sumeeta and her team are passionate educators who have made learning enjoyable for my children. The support has been tailored to the appropriate level for each of my kids to support their learning and development needs. They have been keen to participate in the work, which is half the battle! We use the centre in person and online, both formats work really well. I’m delighted we found this resource.

I can not recommend this Kumon study centre enough. My daughter has been attending Kumon Foyle for almost one year and has made significant progress in Mathematics. I have watched her confidence grow and become much more independent. This Kumon has a family atmosphere, work is set to individual levels and parents are encouraged to participate in their child's learning with regular updates and reviews.

I enrolled my 6 and 7 year old on the Kumon Math programme in Londonderry Centre .Sumeeta has started from the scratch with kids and to be honest it took me time as well to understand how it works ,, it’s all about practice and repetition and after a year I can see that this works really well. My daughter joined Kumon Foyle 3 months ago and since then her confidence in Maths has soared a lot. She stopped using the number line when doing her homework and her overall mental Maths performance has improved greatly. She enjoys her sessions at the centre and can't wait until it is time for the next one.I really feel grateful to Sumeeta, because she certainly knows how to motivate a child in developing independent learning skills. She is very supportive, but also strict and demanding at the same time, which helps children and parents :-) to develop a routine and a systematic approach to learning.I highly recommend our centre to any child, no matter whether they excel at their learning or need a little help because they are a bit behind with the curriculum.

My two boys joined Kumon just a month ago. They actually enjoy it. I found Kumon helps my boys with punctuation, use comma, full stop and capital letters. Especially for my younger son, Kumon’s everyday homework helps him with hand writing. His handwriting is getting a little better.

My daughter has been attending Kumon for a year now and we are so pleased with her progress! The programme has changed her attitude to maths, and has created a tremendous work and study ethic in her. We couldn't be happier. And Sumeeta is an inspirational person, she works so hard and she is so devoted to the children and their individual success. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kumon and Sumeeta to other parents.
