Tenpin Rochdale

We came for a birthday party, which was brilliant. Everything went really smoothly, timings were excellent and we were really well looked after, we returned a couple of months later for a 1 hour owling session, prebooked. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and lane was set ready to go. Just brilliant.

Very popular for kids birthdays, easy to find and plenty of parking. Starting to look a little dated though and the facilities definitely need a refurb but still a great place

Been a while since I went ten pin. At 70, it was a 'new' experience! Me and my husband took our 15 year old grandson, who won!! Was great fun. Prices of game and drinks were reasonable and staff very helpful

Was having a great time bowling , all went sideways when I went to the bar for a new round of drinks ( 3) turns out you cannot have a short and Pepsi in a large Pepsi glass ( no signs) the mouthy girl behind the bar said she couldn't serve it in those glasses as she'd get in trouble I asked why when I've been served twice already , no answer only she'd refuse to serve me , I pointed out that as I am buying drinks I,m contributing to paying her wage , ( didn't like that ) I asked her to change the pint as it was flat nope can't do that as its been poured , at this point I asked for the management , oh they don't work on a Saturday ,really then who's in charge as I want to talk to them , she would neither contact or sayThe bowling is great the bar staff and beer is total carp

Went with a few friends today. Molly served us at reception and helped us book a lane. Thank you for being so kind and helping us get the best deal available! Another staff member (whose name I didn’t get) also helped us sort out some issues with the lane bumper and the ball getting stuck. Thank you very much :)

The staff were really helpful and did a great job even though they were really busy. It seemed like they needed more staff on but they remained friendly and attentive whenever we needed something.

Really enjoyed myself here today.The staff are lovely,helpful and cheery.It's clean and tidy.The bowling alley is much better, especially when you can wear your own Trainers on the lanes.The balls are marked in size for weight difference, which I found useful and helped me find the best weight of the bowl that was suited to me.The food was good and the beer is nice.They do have good prices here.Nice little arcade area and a lazer tag.Very clean toilets upstairs too.

Entered the building, there was NO-ONE on reception and didn’t see anyone at all for easily 5 minutes. My husband went looking around, a guy then came down the stairs and said ‘are you waiting’ ? OBVIOUSLY we are waiting !! Then a woman came running across to get on reception and asked if we had a booking, I showed her the booking on my phone and she sorted out a lane for us. We got on the lane and the screen didn’t work, I informed the woman and she put us in another lane with no issue. Bowling experience was good, we then went on the amusements which were good although some were out of order but enough were working for our lads to have a good time. There were probably around 9 people in the place.We then decided (to our dismay) to order food. I ordered at reception at 16.58 & we were order number 4 with 6 things on the order. 20 minutes later, nothing arrived. Another 5 minutes went by and the server came out with 2 things off our order. We then waited around 10 minutes for the rest of the order to come out…nothing arrived. I spoke to the server and showed her my receipt, her face was in shock because she said that isn’t what has gone through to the kitchen ONLY the 2 things that have been brought out had so she quickly went into the kitchen, came back out and said how sorry she was and it was being dealt with immediately. We waited another 15 minutes and still nothing, then another member of staff came out and informs us that an item we had ordered, they didn’t have and what did we want in place of it, we informed her what we wanted and she went back into the kitchen. The server then (after more waiting) brought the rest of the original out BUT brought out a child’s meal instead of an adults meal. I told her that it was wrong and she said she would sort it urgently, I said just leave it but she insisted. All the other food was on the table and when I looked at what we had been given, I was utterly appalled by not only the presentation BUT by the quality of the food too. I ordered a panini which was described on the menu as what would be delicious…I opened it and it was dry and had no filling on both sides of one side !! It was just inedible. I got the manager over and showed him and he was just smiling and said well it does come with large fries !! He looked at what we had been served and said ‘We don’t actually make the food here we just heat it all up so don’t see what’s inside’. I told him it was unacceptable to serve what had been served and that we had been waiting nearly an hour for it all to come (the replacement meal still hadn’t come out by this time) and he offered vouchers for more bowling !! I said absolutely not and that I wanted a full refund which he said he would sort out. We then got up and went to reception, I got a refund on my card and I said to the manager who was smugly smiling that ‘the food was absolutely terrible and you may find this funny Mr Manager BUT, it’s really not as it’s reflecting badly on this place’ he just looked at me and said ‘I can see where your coming from’ The woman who originally dealt with us on reception informed us that TENPIN will be being took over soon by another investor…let’s hope things improve then but for now, we would go back for the bowling and amusements BUT never again for the food IT’S DIRE !!!!

I had a fantastic time at Tenpin Rochdale! The facilities are top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The bowling experience was a blast, and there's so much more to enjoy here. Whether you're with family or friends, it's a great place to have fun and make great memories. I highly recommend Tenpin Rochdale for a fun-filled day out!
