Park House Bed and Breakfast St Albans

first experience lucky b & b in England we found ourselves very very well.Mrs. Nora, the proprpetaria is really a beautiful woman, kind and loving and with all her guests very helpful.very good and abundant breakfast.the sheets always fragrant, seems to be at homeone evening, after a long day spent in magnificent London, when we returned tired, we asked Nora if we could have dinner in her marvelous garden with an Indian take-away food. His position has once again proved to be great. He drove us to downtown St.Albans to get dinner and went back to b% b, she prepared the garden table for us two and left us with discretion to dine in the moonlight .... to keep us company has remained his loving cat COCO

We've discovered Nora's house by chance and chance indeed it was. Probably the best Bed and Breakfast you'll find in the Kingdom for an extremely reasonable price. Rooms are neat and luminous, beds are incredibly comfortable and the Breakfast, my god, although I've stayed in many palaces in my life, this one is the very best english breakfast I've ever had the privilege to enjoy. It's worth the trip in itself. Not to mention Nora, the beautiful, charming and caring hostess who you'll never regret to have met.

Nora is a wonderful host, friendly and accommodating. The B&B was easy to find and there is plenty of off street (and on street) parking available. The room was very comfortable and breakfast delicious!

Nora looked after us, and our friends, who were attending the same party, very well. The breakfast was outstanding, fresh fruit, full English toast etc. Nothing too much trouble.15 mins walk to station. Very happy.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at Park House Bed and Breakfast on two separate occasions this year. We regularly stay in B&B accommodation in market towns around England and due to the owner, Nora, being without doubt the most polite, lovely and accommodating woman we've had the pleasure of staying with. Park House B&B is very clean, comfortable, warm and homely with a fabulous breakfast to boot!If you're visiting St Albans and you need to find somewhere to stay, my wife and I would strongly recommend Park House B&B. It’s always a good sign when you’re staying somewhere and meet people that have returned several times, as we have. We will certainly be staying again and have recommended Nora’s B&B to all our family and friends.

I'm not staying myself, instead friends from Italy. Nora is a sweetheart. Their English isn't terribly good but she had offered to collect them from St Albans City Station.As the flight is delayed, I have chosen to collect them from Luton and take them direct to this B&B.I communicated this with Nora so that she was aware of the developing situation. She was incredibly friendly and appears to go out of her way to accommodate her guests. While I am a St Albans resident, I'm inclinded to stay for a weekend to sample Nora's hospitality for myself.This is what good customer service is all about. Exceeding expectations!

Absolutely lovely stay. Nora was so friendly and welcoming, the room was beautiful and the breakfast was incredible! Highly recommend!

I see from other reviews I'm not the first one to praise Nora! This host lady is so absolutely lovely and took great care of us. The place is a bit outside St-Albans (be aware of that) and she drove us there twice to avoid us taking a cab!The place feels very British and very cosy. The room, perfectly clean, has a massive bed with great linen, it is very comfortable. It's a residential area so very quiet.And all that for about half the price of a budget hotel in St-Albans, with breakfast included. The value proposition is by a mile the best we could find in the area.We went there for a night before a wedding, couldn't be happier to have found this. Thanks a lot to Nora for being such a great host, I'll definitely book again when coming back to St-Albans.

We had a wonderful stay at Nora's lovely home. She was very welcoming & friendly & pleasant to be with. Everything top! Can only recommend. Will stay there again next time.
