Fabulous food.Overbearing hosts. Thank heaven we didn't have to endure the Sommelier.No wow factor but that made it very relaxed.Overall pleasant evening.

Although Tessa Bramley has been Chef Patron at The Old Vicarage for over thirty years, my relationship goes back even further, in fact another decade, so there’s a long history of fine dining, and I can honestly say things only get better.Swerving the three course option we choose the Prestige menu, a six course tasting option, with matched wines.Every course is a delight, exquisite flavours, elegantly matched and beautifully presented.

Been a couple of times in the last few months for special occasions. The food is high quality and very well presented. Wine matches perfectly. The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Beautiful surroundings. Classy place. Love it.

This has to my favourite restaurant of all time, the food is always amazing and the Andrew's wine knowledge is breathtaking and he is so passionate. The food packs so much flavour and texture in every dish. This is a gem in not just Yorkshire but the UK

Unfortunately, I feel this restaurant has gone down in quality since our last visit. The service was not as good. We ordered a wine flight with our meal at £45 per head, and the sommelier forgot on several occasions to come to the table to introduce the wine when it was served and when he did come he showed little enthusiasm. The food was nice, but I would expect a higher standard for the price and location. The decor is starting to look tired and in parts is water stained. I do not think we will be returning.

Absolutely great place, seasonal menu.Excellent wine list and sommelier.Don't expect to come here on a budget but do expect excellent service and a meal to remember.

Absolutely loved this, the food was delicious, and came out looking sensational. We went for the prestige meal, which is 7 courses. The staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely go again.

Fantastic restaurant for a special occasion! Had a 7 course taster menu with paired wines and everything was beautifully presented and tasted great. This is a bit on the expensive side but worth a visit for a special night. Service was excellent and the staff really know their wines! The place had a very homely feel yet still very posh!

Happy accident booking a meal here. The best meal we’ve ever had. Very attentive staff who were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine. Will definitely be booking again soon
