Dr Yu at TCM is a god send. He has helped me with some complex health issues. Not only has he been able to alleviate my symptoms, he has actually cured me. Such a great practitioner with a warm and personable manner. I have no problem in recommending this practice!!!

I first went to Dr Yu about 4 years ago for an skin allergy problem, where I'd been taking daily anti histamine for years. After only a few weeks of herbs I no longer had the allergy, and coincidentally I lost a stone in weight. It felt like he shifted a 'blockage' and just made my body work better, as it should. I went back recently for a stomach problem, which he fixed after a few acupuncture sessions. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

After going to western doctors all my life and not getting anywhere, I was advised to go to try Chinese medicine. What an eye opener. Dr Yu cleared up some minor problems I've had for years, helped with a major problem, and gave me some simple tips to keep healthy. What a nice compassionate man.

Dr. Yu is a very experienced TCM practitioner. At the peak of my chronic acid reflux (mainly LPR symptoms) period in Year 2014-15, and with all the different classes of PPIs and acid blockers giving me all sort of side effects, I took the chance and visited Dr. Yu. Although traditional medicine has their fair share of doubters, Dr. Yu's prescribed medicine has helped relieve symptoms dramatically. Since then, I have regained my quality of life. Although a combination of gaviscon advance, sucralfate (prescribed by my gastro & is on my repeat prescription now, since I can't take acid blockers), and Dr. Yu's medicine now constitutes my long-term medication, I can pretty much lead life normally.BTW, due to British regulation, all TCM medicine are plant-based anyway. So, there isn't any concern w.r.t. wild fauna.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine practiced by Dr. Yu helped me with two problems. A couple of years ago I needed help with my lower back pain, when I could barely moved and simple movements caused me a lot of pain. After a few accupuncture sessions, the pain dissapeared, could move without any strains and ever since I did not have any more issues.Due to long working hours and work related stress that led to physical and mental exhaustion, a few months ago I developed anxiety combined with loss of weight and appetite, which severely impaired my life style. Dr Yu combined accupuncture with massage and herbal therapy and within only a couple of months, all my problems dissapeared, I started eating better, gain weight and get back to my own self.I cannot thank Dr. Yu enough for all his help, his professionalism and ability to adapt the therapies to each individual's needs.Thank you very much and keep up the good work!
