A very mixed experience.The sales people are very straightforward and don't try to apply any pressure, which is great. We were initially advised of an 8 week lead-time for installation, which became 11 weeks - but that was manageable.The fitters who came were very nice - personable, professional, polite, and tidied up after themselves.Unfortunately, the office had ordered the wrong glass - they managed to replace this by day 3 of the installation, but this was the start of our problems...After the team left, we quickly noticed that half of the glass units across the 7 windows in our house were scratched in various ways. We raised this issue with them immediately, but it took them over 3 months (!) to visit to install replacement glass.When they came to replace the scratched units - again, half of the glass they had with them was wrong.So we had to wait ANOTHER 3+ months for them to replace the remaining scratched glass. Guess what? They brought the wrong glass, again....After I raised a formal complaint they got their act together, and 8 months after original installation, we now have scratch-free glass on all our windows.Real shame - all the tradesmen we had on site were great - but the issues with damaged glass and the massive delays getting it fixed were just unacceptable.

I have written this review about Apex Windows due to the experience I have had and continue to have with them over the last 12 months and the ongoing issues with our replacement sash windows. This is the second review I am writing as I was told to take down my first review by Apex a few months ago until they had a chance to resolve the problem. Ironically they were very quick to contact me when the initial review went up and actually spent more time and effort trying to get me to remove my review than to resolve the issues with the windows.Our initial engagement with Apex was very good. The salesperson was very nice, straightforward and not pushy and the price of the windows was fair and reasonable. The delivery time dragged on but that wasn't unexpected. The fitters were fantastic and I can't fault them whatsoever for coming out on the coldest days of December 2022 and doing a very neat job. That's where the positives end.We noticed straight away that the windows were draughty, not because of the way they were fitted but the actual windows themselves and 12 months on they still are. So much so that our blinds actually move on a windy day.We have had several visits from Apex, none of them promptly, and have had several additional brushes, draught excluding blocks and pieces of foam added. None have worked.The Building Regulations state that all replacement windows should be free from draughts. These are not and therefore do not comply with the Building Regulations.The windows should improve the thermal efficiency of the building and therefore save money on heating bills and help provide an improved level of thermal comfort. They do not and therefore are not fit for purpose.The level of service we have received since having the windows installed has been beyond poor. Apex have not been proactive in trying to resolve the issues, it has always been myself having to get them to try to sort things. They tried to push blame on to the window manufacturer however, we purchased the windows in good faith from Apex and our contract is with them.If you have ever purchased sash windows from Apex, I would urge you to check the grooves in the areas shown in the photos. We can't be the only ones who have this issue if it is a design fault with the windows. If it is a known fault, why have we been sold non-compliant windows?

From the quote to fitting Apex was excellent. Their prices were clear and the salesman was friendly and helpful (unlike other companies who tried using hard sell tactics). Everything went smoothly with the fitters doing a fantastic job, they cleaned up after and took away the old windows. We are really pleased with the quality of the windows and the difference they make to our rooms. We would highly recommend Apex Windows.

Andy and Matt’s work this week in fitting our windows has been faultless, it’s been a fantastic effort.They have been punctual the whole week, working to tight deadlines in the cold and rain.They have transformed our house; we couldn’t ask for more.We are very appreciative of all their work and effort in a short space of time.I will recommend them to all our friends and family. Can’t wait to work with Apex Windows, Matt and Andy in the near future.Additionally, from Moyo saying a very big thank you, you’ve gone above and beyond normal expectations.I would like to say to the wider public; that I have adopted these two brothers as part of my family.When I first read some reviews on Apex, I almost decided against giving them our work.When Scott came in initially for Sales and presentation; his level of professionalism made me believe this was the company we would go with.So whoever is out there writing negative reviews for this company, you should come and see the work done for us to perfection with no single fault or complaint.Our fittings were fast-tacked a week before the actual appointment date.Cleanliness was 100%, they left the house spotless every day after each work carried out.Andy even went to learn my language and greeted me the next morning in my language to my surprise.For any fittings, I would always recommend Andy and Matt.Once again, A big thank you to Andy and Matt.

I had all my windows and front door replaced by Apex Windows a couple of years ago now and overall, I'm pleased with the service they provide. Initially when the work was done, I noticed a small dent in the front door, but this was replaced for a new front door soon after. I also had some issues with the window handles where the thin layer of chrome kept peeling off after a few months, but they came to replace the ones that had been affected. Most recently, I noticed this layer of chrome on the window handles peeling off again, but they were happy to upgrade all the window handles with solid chrome ones free of charge and I'm very happy with that. I've never had any issues with them, and they've always carried out any issues without any hassle. I would recommend them highly.

I have recently had some work done at my place by Apex Windows which involved a new front door and new cladding. I must say what a brilliant company they are and the members of the team who work there. Excellent service and extremely friendly and honest and the quality of workmanship is the best. I have had a couple of jobs completed by Apex and the team all know me as a customer and I believe that rapport and relationship is now built with them. I give them all my work and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for brilliant outstanding service.Thank you once again to the team from the directors level to the team in the office and the installers and surveyors and everyone who is part of Apex team.I am looking forward to my next project and look forward to see what magic Apex will do to transforming my property at the next phase. Apex Windows were recommend to us by a family member, so glad they were recommended. I had several window companies give quotes, what I liked with Apex was they didn't do a sales pitch, they just quoted and there was no pressure, the quote was the cheapest of all my quotes, Tim was who quoted us. They fitted 7 windows and 2 doors in my property, fitters were friendly they were father and son, did a great job and were very tidy, cleaned up after themselves each day, showed me how to work the doors and windows. So pleased with the windows and doors and how they were fitted. There customer service after the products being installed was fantastic. I noticed something with one of the windows, called Apex windows and they just ordered another window and Martin came and fitted it today, very pleasant man and takes pride in his work and went above what he was here to do, very pleased customer would highly recommended Apex windows.

Excellent service from sales to fitting.Sales, not pushy at all, listened and gave a very competitive price for triple glazed windows and front door.Fitting, 2 fitter turned up very good job, tidy and cleaned up after themselves.Very impressed.
