Absolutely gutting experience5 months of going backwards and forwards because they can't seem to work out our universal credit which I find odd considering we can't be the only people that are private renting, working and on a tiny bit of universal credit that want to buy a home !Our solicitors and the sellers solicitors have done all they need to do and we are still waiting for an offer after 5 MONTHS, we having nothing left to provide they have all our details and information and we are still waiting. Our broker is just as frustrated as we are, to top it all off our tenancy ends on the 21st of this month and we have no choice but to renew because it doesn't look like bluestone will get back to us anytime soon!

Excellent ServiceExcellent Service, We never heard Bluestone but our broker (CHARTWELL FUND ) introduced. I made a big mistake in my life on my credit file but they gave us mortgage which is really appreciated. Bluestone really understood our real situation and offered mortgage. Chasing bluestone customer service to tell me the balance outstanding after we made an overpayment for remortgaging purposes and they are avoiding the question. They are also refusing to tell us what the exact figure will be at the end of the fixed term which is making our life difficult to know how much to remortgage for. I am not so good at maths and I don’t want to make any mistakes with this process so I find their attitude unhelpful. They keep saying that a solicitor will request information etc. well we need to know how much to make the mortgage application for in the first place before any solicitor will be getting involved. Very stressful experience with this company - seems they don’t care once you’re coming to the end of the term. We only went with them as had no other choice due to some past mistakes but have been the perfect customers. They did require us to have a bigger deposit and the percentages were awful as well. Typical example of banks taking advantage of the poor and living in the society that keeps poor people poor as it’s impossible for people to get onto the properly ladder. Luckily we were able to save up the higher deposit required in time through almost going hungry!!! Clearly we could afford the mortgage payments as they were less than our rent for the last two years while we were able to make savings also. I understand they need to mitigate “risks” but It’s just profiting off of those who are most in need - not helping them! I hate banks and can’t wait to repay this god damn mortgage to never have to deal with one again. But at the same time grateful that living in this society and the way it’s run we were able to get a mortgage in the first place and only suffer for two years before going onto a better deal as we are hardworking educated people not just numbers on a risk calculating software.
