I moved house recently to a garden with quite a bit of hard landscaping. I did not need all these various patios/seating areas. The garden despite some lovely flowers beds just felt lifeless.I decided a pond may improve it and contacted Matt to build a pond that would be good for wildlife as well as having a few goldfish.Matt explained everything in detail and his advice was really helpful. Throughout the project Matt and his team kept me completely up to date with what they were doing.Matt and his team were punctual, polite and extremely knowledgeable.They worked hard even in pouring rain. They certainly went the extra mileWhen the project was finished they cleaned up so you could not tell they'd been. I've never known anyone tidy up so well.The pond is amazing and my garden feels so much more alive. I also had Matt plant up the pond and I'm so glad I did - it looks so natural.I cannot recommend Nice Ponds enough.

Our pond was 25yrs old, very neglected and overgrown and in desperate need of work! We found NicePonds online, liked their work so chose them to do a complete makeover. Matt and Dylan did an amazing job and we are highly delighted with the result. They were polite and considerate whilst working, reliable despite a few weather issues and very professional throughout. I've attached before and after photos although in the before photo you cannot really see the pond which shows just what state it was in! We are loving the pond, stream and waterfall and would definitely recommend them.

Matt and Jo have transformed an eye sore into to a work of art. I commend their expertise in pond engineering, pleasant demeanour and tidy workmanship (despite appalling weather conditions).

Matt and the team provided a professional service and communication was excellent. The end result is amazing, everything we were hoping for, the Reflection Pool is now back to its former glory with the filter working correctly, the pool completely cleaned out and the algae that had started forming on the surface gone.We definitely recommend the company.

My old pond was in desperate need of a bit of TLC.. well a lot!! Matt and his team did an amazing job... from the consultation to completion - all very professional and knowledgeable - they absolutely transformed it. When they were done... they cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they had been there. Have to give a special mention to Arthur the poodle, who also did a fab job of keeping our greyhound entertained... Nice Ponds are a must if you thinking about getting or making over a pond.

To say we are delighted with what Matt from NicePonds has created for us would be an understatement.In recent years, our poor old garden pond was looking very sorry for itself and was in dire need of a makeover. Also, since felling a tree that had become too large, we were left with an unsightly patch of waste ground next to the pond as you can see from the attached images.We needed an expert to reclaim the pond and also create a rockery next to it with a streaming waterfall.The whole thing needed to look as natural as possible and as soon as I came across Matt and his website I knew that he was the man for the job.Matt, and his teammate Joe, were both very pleasant to deal with all the way through the project, but more than that....the care, attention to detail and professionalism they showed was outstanding.Matt has a real passion for getting the final effect 'just right' and you can tell he really loves what he does and with Joe's assistance they have both created something truly wonderful for us to enjoy.Amanda (my partner) and I, can't wait to get into the garden now after a days work and just kick back and relax by the pond listening to the trickling stream and watching all the sights and sounds of nature.If you're looking for a natural looking water feature for your garden then don't look anywhere else, NicePonds are the best!

Matt and Dylan created a superb pond for us, way beyond our spectation. Communication excellent as was the initial survey to discuss what type of pond we required...i.e. an eco pond. Everything went to plan, mess kept to an absolute minimum and any left completely cleared ...very professional! Whole project done within 9 days even in awful weather as well I might add! We moved into a new property and inherited an outdated, leaking pond with a number of mature Coy. The pond wasn’t deep enough for the fish to thrive and the pumps were outdated. Matt and the team did an incredible job of making the pond deeper, installed a new tough liner, created areas for the fish to shelter, installed a modern skimmer, waterfall, rockery, and planting. The pond looks incredible, the water quality has improved immensely and is crystal clear. They’ve transformed an old shabby pond into something that we love spending time around. The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and to have around the house throughout the project. They’re knowledgeable, polite, and have a great sense of humour. They also worked really hard through some appalling weather, without slowing down. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the team, and we’ll continue to see them as we’ve asked them to provide on going maintenance services to keep the pond in perfect condition.

Our experience with Matt and Dylan was very good. They talked through the project, adapted plans to the terrain issues, were on time, professional and friendly. We wanted a natural look, wildlife accessible pond with a waterfall and a bog garden and that is what was created, on time and built into the previous rockery area.
