Mediocre breakfast for a costly price . Not hot and fried eggs were hard boiled eggs.Manager was directing her staff all the time and at times very abruptly .Disappointing first and only visit.

Number 5 Cafe Bar Bistro
Staff were so attentive and pleasant, overall such a welcoming vibe. Great coffee and the club ciabatta was unbelievably delicious. I started eating too quickly to get a photo but did get a photo of my raspberry and white chocolate brownie I had after which was incredible. Top tier food in a lovely setting and would highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back.

Very impressed with the service here, my wife ordered a cocktail that she was not a fan of and they offered to change it for her at no additional charge - she declined the first time due to being overly polite but they persisted and came back a few minutes later to double check and she took them up on it at last. Would reccomend 100%. Will definitely come for food next time!

Great coffee, strong but not bitter. I had eggs benedict which was cooked to perfection, the bacon tasted like bacon should. Also recommend the baked egg dish, fantastic. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with natural chat between staff and customers, they clearly have a regular customer base as they were familiar with a lot of the customers that came in as we were eating. Always a good sign! Great value for money too. Highly recommended.

Lovely breakfast had at number 5. Vanilla Iced latte I enjoyed and my mum enjoyed her pot of tea and my husband his hot chocolate deluxe with cream and marshmallows. Then full English was enjoyed by my mum and husband and I enjoyed the eggs benedict Royale. The young man who served us I am sorry not to have catched his name because what a credit he is to your establishment. He was very on the ball very friendly and felt very looked after in his thorough service. A young girl also took our payment and she was also very friendly. Would very much recommend visiting this place (the mushrooms to the egg royale were off my husbands full breakfast as he doesn't like mushrooms but I very much do ☺)

Decided to go to Number51 cafe and bar in Shifnal for brunch as a treat. It always looks busy and looks like it has a vibrant atmosphere, which it does. Not a-lot of tables (probs seats 34 people total) so very hit and miss but I believe it is dog friendly as another customer had their’s although it was handbag sized.We ordered 2x breakfast and 1x pancakes with mixed berries and chocolate spread and drinks totalling £42. We had to send the eggs back on one breakfast as we asked for hard yokes but they come out sunny side up (we did say this when we ordered). The mixed berries were dull and messy (definitely not fresh fruit) which made the pancakes soggy.On a plus side, the breakfast was nice so hopefully our next visit will be a four or five star rating.

Meals were lovely, unfortunately spring cake was dry, think it's just been out too long. Our main complaint was the woman working there was quite rude. The young boy was lovely and polite. The woman was very snappy in his she answered and when we said thanks and goodbye she didn't respond at all, but the boy did. Wouldn't go back again just based on that unfortunately

Absolutely delicious steak sandwich and cappuccino followed by raspberry muffin and Berry smoothy, all bursting with flavour and highly recommended.
