Went late about 2:45am and the assistant didn’t look up from his phone from walking to my car and all around the store - i asked him if he had something and he replied really bluntly “no” and went back to looking at his phone. Super poor experience, i would be worried about the security of the store if your staff are this distracted. I have a photo of the staff member but it will not let me upload it happy to send if you give me an email.

Starbucks machine was having a wobbly. At first it wouldn't let me do anything, no matter what I pressed it wouldn't go off the cup size option.I use the exact machine in another garage where I've never had a problem.So I managed to get to the drink selection option after some time. When I pressed grand cappuccino, the calibration or something wasn't working properly and it started giving me a flavoured tea.The girl behind the counter tried helping but told me that I had to pay for the tea. I don't like tea! I don't drink tea. It wasn't my fault!!I had to pour it away and then pay for the coffee as well after the machine had finally done it's job properly.The girl told me that I had to pay for it otherwise it would come out of her wages.I have worked in management for years and feel that if it's not anyone's fault you can't just blame the staff.I have been using this station 3-5 times a week but will not return now after that experience

Petrol prices are ridiculous here how can u justify nearly 145p a litre

At a time when people are struggling with the cost of living , shell petrol station in Cwmbran is charging £1.99.9 per litre of diesel whereas shell petrol stations in both Bath and Bristol city centre are charging £1.91.9 . A huge difference when you consider the ground rents and standards of living are far higher there than they are in Cwmbran.PURE GREED !!!

Update on the 27/08/22.Shell wrote to me and said the issues will be escalated but they haven't. Weeds still everywhere, bins overflowing onto forecourt hence litter everywhere, quite shocking. The Regional Manager needs to get into their car and drive there to inspect it, and do it unannounced!Or access your own CCTV if you can.Just awful in every way imaginable. The pumps are filthy, the bins are overflowing and filthy, the forecourt is hazardous due to no fuel spillage cleaning regime, the forecourt is strewn with litter, there are weeds growing everywhere. The shop is dirty, unkempt and badly merchandised.The fuel pricing is diabolically high, without justification.The owner, franchisee, manager and Shell as a whole should be ashamed of this unit.Either improve it or sell it to a company who actually cares about standards, service, community, etc..Boycott it until it proves it's worthy of customers.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Shocking service and very rude and lazy lady that was working tonight. Sent my dad over to collect a gas bottle for the kids birthday BBQ. It states on the website sold 24hrs". After being refused the service we tried to come up with solutions as she was the only staff person working. She still refused to get the gas. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT of "24hrs".Complaining to the manager. Very unprofessional."

Would give no stars if I could, absolute shambles of a garage, dirty, cluttered and the staff are rude, lazy and generally unhelpful. Have sent an email to esso, was told they would look into it, too late started going to garage that as least shows some helpfulness to its customers. I say sack the lot of them lazyand good for nothing.

Unbelievably shocking, almost laughable. Young kid was so disinterested in promoting his company and simply rude. Told him what bread I wanted and he said 'haven't got that one' ! I asked 'OK, what do you have ?' he replied 'not much'. Haha, now I realised I had attitude on my hands. Chose the only bread he had to offer, then he said 'haven't got ham' so I just got what I could and left after he reluctantly threw bits of salad on my sub. How this numb nuts ever got employed beggars belief. Do not use this Subway.

So glad to see there's a Subway in house but when I took my son in for a sandwich the girl behind the counter said they close at 9pm and had already cleaned up and had put the food away. I don't mind people finishing early but in a new franchise you think they'd want to make a good impression. The time was 8.50pm

I had to return a package back to ASOS, so ASOS emailed me a QR code for the Shell Garage to scan and print to add to the package. I went to the Shell Garage and the lady was so rude and was very annoyed that she had to print off the label - sorry that it’s your job?? If I had a QR scanner and printer to do it myself, I would save you a job! Sorry to be such an inconvenience to you - there is just no need for the attitude. If you don’t like your job, find one elsewhere that you might enjoy!!
