Absolutely loved learning about pottery throwing and making our own! Julie is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the whole experience was fantastic. 100% recommended and will definitely go again

We did this as a couple and absolutely loved it!Julie was very knowledgable and explained the basics before we got going on the wheels. Having the 1:1 support and attention meant we produced some decent pottery rather than us trying to stumble through and making a vague clay ‘something’!Very happy with what we produced and cannot wait to see the finished result after glazing etc.

My daughter and I had amazing time at Ceramic Finch with Alisha. The atmosphere was professional but friendly and relaxed. Alisha has so much knowledge which she shared with us and a gentle manner to guide us through our first pottery throwing attempts. We would highly recommend booking in with Julie/Alisha to try out your pottery throwing skills, it was so fun and also very relaxing/therapeutic!

What a lovely creative and fun way to spend a morning! Went with a friend to Ceramic Fitch for a morning session learning how to use a potters wheel. Julie was just lovely, a great teacher and very patient. The time just few by and miraculously we both came out of the experience with three lovely pieces of ceramics. Would highly recommend.

A friend and I attended a pottery workshop run by Julie (Ceramic Fitch) on 30.6.23. This was a birthday gift. I was a complete beginner while my friend had some experience of pottery prior to this session. Julie was the perfect host; she was welcoming and the environment was very relaxed. She helped us to choose two items each that we would be making, explaining and demonstrating how to work the clay and how the items would be fired and glazed. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning and would highly recommend it!

Julie was a fantastic teacher for the Pottery Throwing Class for 2. Lovely studio, intimate space and really hands on with the process, creative and incredible value for everything offered, including two coloured pieces per person to take home. Thoroughly recommend this really fun experience.

We had such a fantastic time, doing a family throwing experience session with the fabulous Julie. A really positive, interesting, fun and accessible session in a lovely intimate setting. Julie taught us so much and also let us get hands on and create our own pieces. My kids loved it. Would definitely recommend for families, couples or a group of friends .

A fun session in Julie’s cute studio on a farm. Julie was a great teacher, patient and thoughtful, giving us enough information for us to understand the basics of pottery without overwhelming us and showing us how to take control of the wheel in ways I found instinctive to pick up. The time passed really quickly because we were so immersed in the activity. We collected four items this weekend that we can actually use at home - I’m really pleased with them!

We had a family throwing experience with Julie in October half term - it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Julie is an excellent tutor and we were amazed at what we were able to produce . The girls were so excited to pick up their makes after Julie had glazed and fired them. We are delighted with how they turned out. Not bad for a first go!! Really hope to go again. It’s quite addictive! Thank you Julie
