Friendly staff, very large cafe, decent selection of well cared-for plants of all sizes, from small alpines (4 for a tenner) to large tree ferns (£500-600).If you've not been before, note it's located down a *very* long drive (depending on which way you come into the grounds). Lots of parking space, no mud. Very nice setting amongst mature trees. 4/5

Food lovely fresh and hot.. quite a bit of a wait. But thourally annoyed it once it arrived. Didn't have our 1st choice. . It was a nice area to sit in with dog which was nice. And they were friendly..i would definitely go back again . But be ready to wait as like I said the food was lovely especially there chips

I just simple love this place. Plenty different species of plants, garden equipment , garden furniture etc. Free parking on side. Good coffee and cake and other food too. There is even small play house for kids where there can play with toys etc. I always come back there !

Much bigger than it first looks.Amazing choice and display of plants, garden furniture and much, much more. All with really good affordable prices.Had lunch in the cafe, which was extremely nice. Took a while to arrive, but was worth the wait. Also, gifts galore, toys, books, tableware, and much more.Really enjoyed our visit, even tho it was a miserable rainy day.

Like many garden centres, Towneley has diversified with lots of homewares, gifts and also a cafe. Thankfully they still have wonderful plants which are really good quality. Easy to park with ample spaces on site and will worth a visit

This garden centre has a variety of all sorts available for purchase. While we were there we also had breakfast in the café which was lovely.

A great place for a walk, play on the park, feed the ducks... You can walk a bit further on to the nature reserve, or spot herons in the river. A nice spot to spend a few hours in.

It's a garden centre so you expect the prices to be high. The centre itself is fine. The Christmas stuff is always worth a visit. The cafe/restaurant is basically microwave food at restaurant prices and the management were rude to the staff which is never good, so I'd avoid eating there again, but otherwise it's fine

This is a very good garden centre quite big with a very good cafe the food was hot and there was enough to fill you with out being two much coffee, tea and plenty of choice of other drinks. We enjoyed our short visit and will be going again. Only two and half hours parking so felt a bit rushed to get around everything especially when mum can be a bit unsteady on her feet and really likes to look at everything.
