Fresh vegetarian food made on premises from produce grown in owners kitchen garden. Cauliflower cheese toastie was fab. Marrow and butter bean stew was great for a damp autumn day. You can buy some of the home grown veg too.

A perfect spot for a meat free lunch. 4 delicious salads to choose from, soup or a feta focaccia. Everything homemade and the veg is from the owners farm. Charming and enthusiastic staff. The baked cheesecake and rhubarb compote was exceptional

Absolutely the best place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or afternoon coffee/tee in St Andrews. Delicious fresh food (I saw them prepare it on the spot). Wonderful wee farm shop and a warm and wholesome atmosphere.

Fantastic food from people who really mean it. We had the Ribolitta soup/stew and it was outstanding - really rich and zesty. Couldn't resist the Basque cheesecake, either - super-creamy and perfectly set off by a gooseberry compote.

We love this place - we always visit here for lunch anytime we’re in St. A’s. Much needed concept for this town and everything is delicious. Foccacia sandwiches, and salad bowls are nutritious and super yummy. Basque cheesecake is the best I’ve had!

What a great new cafe in St Andrews! Exactly what the students need. Five Acres provides healthy, affordable options as well as FANTASTIC hot chocolate that is just to die for! I will definitely be back and can't wait to have this as my new study place :)

Fantastic farm fresh, delicious food! My family and I enjoyed their delicious mushroom cheese chart, an amazing chickpea stew with types of flavor I found astonishing, delicious, fresh mozzarella sandwich on focaccia with grilled vegetables, three different kinds of salads filled with wonderful produce, including gooseberries! They use only the freshest produce and the best ingredients. This is farm to table at its best. I cannot say enough about Five Acres! It was the best and healthiest food I’ve had since arriving in Scotland. Absolutely wonderful!

The best eating/food experience I had in all of Scotland! Fresh and delicious! I am not always a fan of lentils, but their lentil dish was superb! I would love to be able to eat here regularly, but it is a little far from home.
