Had to travel to Inverness to attend a family funeral. Stayed with my family in Mountain Lodge. The most wonderful place with beautiful scenery. It made a sad time all the more bearable being in these surroundings.

Had a wonderful secluded week staying in the Hideaway. Magical forest walks, lunch in the sun on the decking, beautifully decorated rooms, super comfy bed! Hosts are very helpful if needed but leave you to your privacy.

We stayed in the Hideaway, which is the wee caravan at the side of the lodges. It was a wee AirBnB number, and i have to say it was gorgeous. Very private and sweet. The wood burning stove was a gorgeous touch which made the nights cosy. 20 minutes from Inverness city centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend.

Lovely big and clean log cabins just outside the Muir of Ord. Very spacious with all the comforts you need on holiday. Dog friendly and a large woodland area you can walk the pooches around. The cabin had 1 double room and 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms, with your own little private garden with a fire pit and bbq. Perfect relaxing holiday.

There aren't words to properly explain what a stay at this place does for the soul. In a week we've rested & explored in equal amounts. We feel like we've been away for weeks! Such a wonderful way to support a family business, getting an excellent & memorable holiday in return. The proprietors are kind & thoughtful- always there if you need any suggestion how to spend your time & will leave you alone if you would rather. Heaven on earth really - sad to have left those views behind

We had such a wonderful stay in the Hideaway, it is perfect for a cosy getaway. Ailsa and Jonny are very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. I highly recommend staying with Big Sky Lodges. The highland coos are adorable, we loved seeing them through our window as we ate breakfast :)

A lovely set of wooden built chalets in the Highlands, with views out onto a scenic valley. It is out of the way and quiet, while still being within a 20-30 minute drive from Inverness' town square.

We had a fabulous holiday at Big Sky, the lodge exceeded our expectations and it was a fantastic base for our week away. We travelled near and far, fantastic walking, waterfalls with salmon leaping, beaches, lochs, good food and Minger cheese! Many evenings spent next to the fire pit, exploring the woods and enjoying family time.

My girlfriend and I had a lovley three nights here. The accommodation was well kitted out with all the esential amenities.Take a car though as it is out of the way.So peaceful and homely!
