La Gamba - Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant
Excellent tapas place right by the Southbank. Best plates were the Cod, steak and toasted bread desert. Flavours were rich ( shout out to the sauces !) The desert was indulgent and textured. Only dish I wasn't loving was the chicken skewers. Whilst nice it was a step below the others ( we had 7 plates). Staff really warm and vibe nice is nice inside. I Can imagine it will be a big hit in the summer and would highly reccomend !

Food are quite average but they are still priced high thus utility per pound is barely minimum. Service is below average, correct me if you had a try. Main reason I left a 3-star is the atmosphere is quite good.

We had our team Christmas dinner here, very attentive service throughout! They were very busy, not their fault but we had to wait 10 mins for the previous guests to leave the table and for them to set up.All of the dishes took me back to travels in Spain, special mentions are the croquettas, tortilla, padron peppers and huevos rancheros

Place to eat in Southbank! This restaurant brings a cool Spanish vibe to the London riverside.Carefully selected tapas menu, offering a bit of everything (seafood, meat, veggies, cheese...). Each plate looks beautiful and is brought down to perfection. Rich & tasty flavours, simply delicious.Nice staff, very welcoming and happy to help with any questions regarding the menu. We will definitely come back!

Excellent restaurant to eat in Southbank. We as spaniards were very surprised with the quality of this place because the plates we ordered were delicious. Also, the service was brilliant, especially Miguel who was very friendly and helped us with our doubts.La Gamba is a must if you come to London.

Fantastic food at this great Tapas restaurant. It was surprising to find this great restaurant right below the Royal Festival Hall, where there are usually just chains. The tables are crammed in, but that makes for a great atmosphere, although it’s not so noisy that you can’t hear. There are also outdoor tables, but it was a bit too fresh on the day for us to sit there. We were a group of 5, so we ordered a range of dishes. It was all delicious, but we re-ordered the aubergine and two portions of the pan con tomate, which were especially good. The staff were really great. We’d actually booked for 4, and they were kind enough to accommodate a friend who had suddenly been able to join us. Very enjoyable visit.

La Gamba will always be my first choice of restaurant in Southbank, and this is my fifth time here. Perfect food combination: pork, beef and tomato bread are the most recommended, interesting Spanish fusion tapas. Cocktails are also very good. Today's manager, Miguel, provided flawless service. Very lucky to find such an excellent restaurant close to home.
