Dunblane New Golf Club

Attended a wedding at he hydro & sneaked my clubs along! Pro was really friendly & the course was amazing, especially the back 9. Glad we took a buggy though as hilly is an understatement!

I attended for a meeting. Difficulty getting into the clubhouse as it was a coded entrance, but a member of staff came to the door and opened it. Soup and sandwiches for lunch. Soup was very peppery and because of this I wasn't able to enjoy the flavour of mushrooms. A bit pricey for what was a very basic lunch.

Seems to be very popular for private functions we seem to pick people up every weekend in our taxis.

Lovely big place for party's and socialising.

We visited for the Junior Open. The whole experience was superb, and the wet weather didn't spoil the day. The course was in great shape. The club made a great effort with a lovely BBQ and trick shot show for the kids and parents.

Great challenging course. Greens were lightning. Patchy areas around the greens as I think it was a challenging growth period.Pro was excellent and very welcoming and talked me through how it played. However on the 2nd hole, the greenkeeper seemed to have a problem with us. We drove off the tee and one of the balls landed about 100yards away but he was throwing his arms around. When he passed us he was shaking his head at us. I asked other members what we might have done wrong but no idea.The group of members in front were very friendly and chatted to us when we met at tees and greens. However about 12 holes in, another 4 ball could see us on the tee and just kept staring at us, talking to each other and pointing in our direction.Overall was a good day. But with the green staff and the 4 ball behind, it felt pretty hostile. Still rating 5 stars for the course and facilities.

Great welcome and fantastic service plus the course was brilliant and thanks to all Greenkeepers on job well done.I will return one day to see you all.

Went for the Mothers Day lunch today at the Golf Club supplied by B&H Catering. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. The Breaded fish was to die for and the roast beef was melt in the mouth. Chicken breast with peppercorn sauce was very moist. Highly recommend xx
