Don Churro Swindon

I don’t normally write bad reviews but the experience we had here was absolutely awful!We were excited to have churros from this new store but as soon as we arrived the whole experience and environment was negative and unwelcoming!There was a young male at the counter having an argument with the girl that was behind! It look like they were a couple having an argument and they just carried on this charade while we looked at the menu! At no point where we greeted, acknowledged or smiled at! The young male eventually moved away on the girl behind the counter just stared at us blankly with no smile she wasn’t welcoming or friendly! It was as if we were an inconvenience and getting in between her and her friend having a social! We placed our order on the screen and the two girls behind the till gave off an angry and unhappy persona which made me my sister and my two young nieces who were excited about getting churros feel really uncomfortable! We saw the order go through and it was clear that the oil hadn’t been heated up so we had to wait for some time for this to be done. When the mixture eventually put into the oil after a while the girl touched one of the churros to see if it was done and a bit stuck to her finger and then she just took it back into the oil meaning that this bit that was on her hand went onto our churros which is really unhygienic! At no point where we spoken to or even smiled at or made to feel welcome which is standard customer service in any establishment. The two girls behind the counter were having a slagging off match which sounded like it was about their boss with one of the girls bragging how she sat on the floor behind the counter moaning! They were extremely unprofessional and again they just made us feel really unappreciated and uncomfortable.The girls simply handed over our chocolate sauce and churros and just turned away and carried on talking to the other girl behind the counter! There was no friendly interaction especially with my two little nieces there who are really excited! I came over to Hereford today to have a nice day with my family and this was our last stop and it really did put a dampener on what was meant to be a nice end to the day! To top it off the churros were extremely overcooked and hard to the point where we didn’t even eat them! As I said I don’t normally write reviews but this was a horrible experience and I feel like you need to know about this as this kind of experience and service will only lead to a decline in business!

We had ordered churros and coffee, the churos were ready and served. I was waiting for the coffee at the counter when the big girl reached over the counter and pushed me to one side with her arm so she can apparently serve someone else. No please" or "thank you" either. Full of attitude

I ordered the bubble waffle with Ice Cream which I thought would be served fresh but instead I got a soggy and old waffle served with Ice Cream that was barely frozen and tasted like milk from the fridge, In addition I ordered the 8 piece churros with a side dip and after they were finished with frying them and dusting them with sugar, they dropped one on the floor then proceeded to place it back in the box with the rest of the fresh churros, overall I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning.

Women server couldn’t even be bothered to get off her phone. Couldn’t hardly speak English. Shocking service. Walked away.

The churros were a bit on the cold side hence I did not like the churros at all.I was expecting a warm hot churro but it was very disappointing.Cold just cold i could not finish it I had to give it away.But the waffles we bought made up for it.It was warm and crispy I finished everything off my plate.All in all when you come here do NOT buy the churro stick to the waffles.

This is the first time I’m writing a bad review in google. But this one was, I wanted to tell everyone. Worst churros I ever had, street churros we saw would be the best. Felt like eating hard chips with sugar on it. Staff was alright but obviously they can’t make a better churros.

Unfortunately from past experiences here this isn't a good one. The churros where over cooked. The ice cream was cold cream and the priority was the Uber eats deliveries. One person serving didn't have a clue and looked like he was going to break down.

Great customer service, delicious and fresh dessert. Would highly recommend to anyone!
