I had a problem with the head unit I purchased. 3 months of trying to get the problem sorted I had to remove the unit ( which was a nightmare to fit and doesn’t follow the usual double din fitments. Not a plug and play by any means) and post it back. I was told it would take upto weeks for a repair. I complained and finally they agreed to send me a new one upon receipt of my old one. I did this and waited, and waited. Finally I called and spoke to Gopal who is by far the most useless customer service agent I have ever dealt with. He promised to send my new unit to me every day for three days. Each day I asked to speak to management but was never able to. He lied to me every day about progress and finally he promised to send it that morning, guaranteed the next day. Needless to he didn’t and when I pestered him for a tracking number, I got one the day after to find my parcel was sent Royal Mail tracked 24. I would rather listen to white noise than trust this company again. It has been a misery from purchase to now. Obviously I still have no head unit. It’s in transit. Wish me luck and hopefully this one works!! I would have demanded a refund but I’ve spent over £100 getting facia plates and looms so this “plug and play” unit to fit. Terrible company service and department of liars

Really bad customer service. Been a road angel customer for over 15 years returned a old unit for a £50 cash refund. But 2 months later still waiting !! Yet another phone call at peak rate just to get a really rude gentleman who said my account details were wrong there end ( after his colleague repeated it back to me as well. So apparently I have to wait another month for the £50 , shame I had just bought there latest unit & years subscription, glad I only did one year as the latest unit doesn’t up date properly !! Poor poor service will definitely go elsewhere next time

Ordered the Road Angel Pure Vision on 27th December 2019 and have been constantly lied to about when to expect delivery. So today after 2 years and 4 months of believing their lies I have demanded a refund. I’m told to expect the refund in 7 to 10 days ???!!!!!Response from the owner 26 minutes agoHi John, sorry you feel this way.we have never lied, sadly the information can change form time to time.we never knew we would have a Worldwide Pandemic, Brexit, Trade Wars, Limited Logistics (globally) global procuring issues, and now a War to deal with when these item were first available to order.these things sadly caused the delays.happy to discuss in more detail with you.Thank you for responding. I have been given dates from staff at Road Angel on several occasions to when the Road Angel will be delivered and no communication or apology at all when it didn’t arrive. Only when I contact Road Angel do I get ‘another deadline for delivery’.I understand we are living in difficult times and manufacturing and supplying has been difficult but communication is not. I shouldn’t have to contact you to ask why my Road Angel hasn’t been delivered.I ordered this product because I had a Road Angel years ago and thought it a quality item and was impressed with the spec of the Pure Vision. I have requested a refund because again there was no communication to why I didn’t receive the delivery as told but am happy to discuss if you contact me. Order no 009413.Two days later and no communication from Road Angel - well that’s a surprise!!!

After many years of using Road Angels I left following awful service and expensive subscription that just lost its appeal. I succumbed to advertising and purchased a new pure touch - £350 & £300 for subscription. Waited 7 months for delivery - I get that this is not the company fault after global chip shortages but when the new device is faulty on arrival - they then take 4 weeks to repair and return the device “after extensive testing” (so they’ve now had my new device a lot longer than me) and then the “extensively tested” repaired device comes back and won’t even switch on I have a sense of humour failure. The online chat basically gets cut short… you ask for a complaint to be registered with management but they refuse / don’t act, just like many other comments in these reviews once they have your money they don’t care - I’m now stuffed with either a load of hassle to get it returned and repaired yet again at my inconvenience or left holding £750 of device, subscription and accessories that is useless. AVOID THEM… I should have stuck with my instincts and not re contracted and bought another device…. And as for a refund even though it was not fit for purpose within the first 28 days you have no chance… feels like a credit card section 75 claim coming on.UPDATED 4 Weeks later: Eventually received a full refund of the device, subscription and accessories. with thanks to the management team for resolving the issues. Shame to be leaving after many many years of being a loyal subscriber and the latest experience doesn’t reflect the past history and the quality of the data base… which is first class…. but without functional hardware it’s useless. A fair approach by the company to eventually resolve matters. Thank you.

Bought Road Angel Halo Pro front and rear dash cam from Costco, next day bought hard wire kit on Amazon.During fitting I unknowingly damaged kit whilst fitting. Emailed Support ( Rory Booth and Alex Mangli ) to tell them i suspected kit was faulty and they sent me a replacement immediately free of charge. When i fitted the replacement i then found the damage done to original kit (by me!) when fitted. Contacted Road Angel to offer to pay for replacement and they said no need!Excellent service. The Halo Pro camera is working perfectly in my 2017 Jaguar F pace and it was also very easy to wire in with no visible wires.Pleased to be able to put a good review for an excellent product and customer service. 5 star!

On the 26 December 2019 I preordered the Pure Vision device. It was supposed to be launched within 4 months from my order. It is now June 2023 and I still haven’t received it. In February 2021 I contacted Road Angel via contact us on the website complaining and got no response. On the 28 March 2021 I contacted 2 senior people Paul Bishop and Gary Digva who just forwarded my complaint to Andrew Digva which have proven to be a waste of time with wrong information. The reply I got back from Andrew Digva on the 29 March 2021 said that the pre-order should arrive with me within 4-8 weeks. Over 2 years later I still haven’t received. The communication is so bad and unforgivable because I never get any updates saying the is another delay by saying the new launch date. All the time they are trying to get me to upgrade my subscription on my old device when they have got a load of my money since 26 December 2019. They should have given me my money back and taken it back when the Pure Version was available. I decided to report this matter to Trading Standards because how dodgy Road Angel Group are and always will be. I spoke to someone on the phone at Road Angel in November 2021 about the Pure Vision device to see when the launching date was then and there was no answer.Since I made this review Road Angel are becoming more dodgy because it is so true my main review. Now they have completely disabled my old Road Angel device with “stolen warning” permanently on the screen. How bad is that when they’re in the wrong.

Absolutely shocking service. Paid £150 for a dash cam installation a week ago, nobody contacted me to do the work. Contacted them today to resolve with no joy after over 2 hours, asked repeatedly for a refund to be ignored throughout to finally be told it is not possible as their offices are now closed!!! Promise to call me in the morning to issue the refund, but no faith this will happen.I would never recommend them for this service!!

Disgusting company - this corporation is advocating and pushing the government to use their new technology; anti- breaking speed camera technology. These cameras detect people who slow down for the sake of speed cameras. How could you morally advocate for such a law to be in place when drivers in the UK are already at a heightened state of anxiety and stress while driving as it is, from the countless number of different cameras and restrictions that are already in place. Screw this company. Use Nextbase instead- at least they will be on your side, unlike this disgusting entity that sided with the government in making the life of the working man just that much more difficult. Thanks Road Angel. Big thumbs down.

I had a problem updating my Road Angel Pure. Andrew took up the challenge and despite offering me excellent advice I was unable to carry out the task. Andrew offered to have the Pure returned to your offices whereupon Road Angel would carry out the upgrade on my behalf. I believe this to be a brilliant customer service who carries out there task beyond what what would be considered normal for our times. Well done Andrew
