Amazing little dog friendly place. Only time i have been glad to break down. Will have to visit again. Calamari rings couldn't wait for pic.

Wow! Just been took over and the new landlady and her team are off to a great start! Staff are super efficient and friendly too. The place is wonderful and so welcoming. Cosy corner, comfy settees and plenty of tables to dine at. A great experienced chef in the kitchen bringing out some great food with more to come when the kitchen opens fully very soon! Super dog friendly but areas to sit without dogs too.Loads planned by the sounds of it too from theme nights, food tasting, music etc.Great range of beers and wines to suit all tastes, cannot believe what has been done in just 1 week!Looks like we have found our new venue!

Lovely place. We came here once before. The food portions are large, the food is good & the price is fare. It's just off the main drag (A1M). The beer isn't too bad either.

Fabulous meal even though there were a few issues that the staff had to deal with, which were out of their control handled extremely well and we had an enjoyable few drunks and meal well done

Called in for Sunday lunch whilst passing - we weren't disappointed! The meat was good, veg cooked to perfection, and the 2 potatoes and Yorkshire pud spot on.The nicest Sunday lunch we've had outside home.Would highly recommend - good price too!

Visited recently because we had our dog with us. They are dog friendly so you can sit inside and have a meal. They serve a doggy dinner which was a big bowl of mash and meat with veggies for ruben, he loved it.We had starters and mains and couldn't fault it! Ir was the best meal we have had in a while! Taste is so lovely and all freshly prepared! Not the usual you get these days. It was on the pricey side but worth it as a one off ever now and again.We will deffiantly be returning and so glad we visited as it always looks shut. Ring in advance and check for availability.Hats of the the staff and chef they were very lovely and clearly take pride in what they do.

Editing a previous 5 star review down to 2 stars.Went for a meal out expecting to spend slightly more than we usually do but get the experience we have had in the past. Paid the same but had a poor experience for what was spent.The place was cold and uncomfortable.The staff seemed a bit disinterested.The menu stated chips or skin on fries. We both wanted chips but we got fries and when we asked, we're told that's all they had.The fries were overcooked - some really burnt as can be seen in picture.I ordered my burger plain but it arrived with sauce I needed to scrape out.Only positives: The fish my wife had was good quality and the burger itself was nice.Very disappointing after previous experiences. Can't see us returning.

Spur of the moment, as we drove past, we thought we would pop in for some pub lunch.Inside was spacious, clean, and plenty of spaces to sit at. Despite the kitchen being refurbished and the venue having a limited menu, the food choice was decent.We went for the meat feast pizza and chicken strips with Mayo dip. (See pictures attached)The service was quick, and the food was great. Pizza wasn't greasy. Chicken strips were cooked just right.The price was reasonable.The only thing I could mark it down for is the atmosphere, but with it being quiet here if you like quiet, then here would be perfect for you.Would recommend visiting for a quick bite to eat if you were ever passing by.
