Castle Street Car Park
Very reasonable priced car park and a suitable location. The machines are however a little dated and can be difficult to use, even appearing somewhat faulty.

I came across the entrance a little unexpectedly as it's somewhat camouflaged by the buildings, but once inside it's a great car park and easy to navigate. So easy to get to the shops, just one straight road and a cheap option compared with the other car parks if you are just dashing in for a short while.

Drove there yesterday (15/07/23) to find it permanently closed! Unfortunately, I can't give zero stars.Fortunately, there's one pretty much opposite which saved us.

Alright during the day but I've never felt comfortable returning after dark. Certain areas smell pretty bad. Usually a lot of parking though.

Terrible place. Left our car for two nights. Someone stabbed one of our tyres (and a couple more around us). We called the park management and they said they have nothing to do about it. We payed 20 pounds to leave the car there. The case is with the police now.

An ok carpark in a great location. Certainly better than some carparks I have visited in Kent! Prices are reasonable too!My only negative is the fact they have a keypad on the gate entry machine when you drive in that asks you for your registration number. But when you input your registration number the machine says Vehicle Not Recognised". I pushed the HELP button and the guy said just enter your registration number on the PAYING machine when leaving

Automatic CNPR system works fine, not too expensive. Close to Canterbury cathedral, very handy.

... short walk to shopping area, number plate recognition on entry, enter your car reg on the machine and pay before you go back to your car, the barriers will lift on your way out. car spaces are just about ok. if other drivers park properly, it won't be a problem, however, wide-bodied cars may struggle.
