Formula One Autocentres - Crawley

My car was booked in on the 16.02.23 for an 11am appointment to have two new front tyres fitted - Not only was I delayed for nearly 4 hours but during this process these so called qualified tyre fitters broke tyre pressure sensors and completely damaged both front alloys by horrendously scarring the outer rims which can only be put down as total incompetence. A front wheel alignment was also apparently carried out and required adjustment. The alignment report that I was told I would get if any adjustments needed doing was and is no longer available. The Manager could do no more than to offer a full refund on my departure which he suggested would help pay towards costs on getting my alloys repaired, but once again I had to experience further delays in getting my money back. After many phone calls and emails my full refund which took several days was finally received. I certainly will never step a single foot back in that place ever again and would suggest that you avoid it like the plague. If you do decide to go there, then make sure you take pictures of your wheels before any works are carried out which fortunately I had already done. Oh and to top off my awful experience I’ve now just received a parking fine due to not leaving the trading estate within a 2 hour period This apparently according to Drew Simmons the area Manager based at the Crawley Branch is my own fault as I didn’t enter my registration in some tablet at their front counter !! So nobody told me to do this on arrival and they held the car for nearly 4 hours. Unbelievable !!

Fitted 2 new tyres, service was fine, but this morning received a parking fine from UKPC for £60. Formal one said they would phone when the car was ready, already paid for the tyres when I booked the car in on the Internet. I took the car to them just after 9am and got a telephone call from them at 13.40pm. This parking fine was issued while it was parked waiting to picked up, which I did at 13.54pm. Not happy with this firm, it was their responsibility to park the car, ready for pick up in a suitable place.

Waited for my tires for 3 weeks, no one didn’t call and when I pop up to the store to ask them about my tires they said that they can’t do it for that price and price went up by 300£. Full of promises…. Low productivity. Bad customer service. The manager should not say what they can’t deliver.

I went in today to see if my air con could be re gassed. I had no appointment but was told there was no problem with me leaving it and they would call me when it was done. About an hour later, I had a call from Paul ( the manager I think) to tell me my pollen filter was really bad and would I like them to change it too. This would apparently benefit me now I was having the air con done. All I can say is, thank you Paul. You went above and beyond with your help and advice today. I am so grateful and having the pollen filter done has really made the whole thing work better. Keep up the good work. You obviously know what you are talking about. All of your team were friendly and helpful

I booked MOT. Two days before it was due. Paul the manager at Crawley explained his MOT man was sick so unable to do. I had already had a bad day as my mum had passed away that morning and had no time to rebook as was trying to sort out paperwork for mum. Paul took the time to find someone who had longer to wait for MOT and fits me in next day. We need more people like Paul at Crawley who went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most. Thank you so much. I will definitely recommend u far and wide, one happy customer x

Terrible service. The car was booked in for two new tyres. On arrival told they had no tyre fitter and it would take 2+ hours. Returned 2 hours later to be told only one tyre had been sent and therefore couldn't do the job! They couldn't even be bothered to phone and let us know.A morning wasted wandering around third world Crawley.Will never use this company again.

Highly recommended I phoned up yesterday and asked about my wheel alignment and told me bring the car over and they did it straight away very friendly very polite and professional. Definitely come back.

Massive thank you to the manager Paul at f1 who went above and beyond to help me when my car wouldn’t start, fitted me in and fixed the problem very quickly, he made me feel very welcome and I wish more garages had managers like him. He truly is an asset to the company and I will definitely be back because of how helpful he was. So thank you for helping a mum in need of a working car for her kids Paul.
