Great little shop, can get a bit busy at Cheshire oaks. Staff helpful and friendly can get some good bargins.

It's a brilliant store with great staff. Whenever I need new hiking boots, it's my first stop as the range available is good and they always have my size. Great quality boots at a fair price.

Busy little shop, helpful staff. I went in for an upgrade on my current Salomon walking shoes, the same model if possible. There were none like I wanted on display, but on speaking to staff, the shop had just received delivery of the newer version, and helpfully went to find a pair in my size.

The store itself is nice, friendly staff so can’t complain there. As for sizing it’s hit or miss depending on the boot or shoe style, so definitely ask for some advice and try before you buy. Speaking with a staff member they talked me into a pair of Outlines. Tried them on and they felt fine. Real comfortable and light.Now after using these on short walks I’ve been getting a tight pinched effect of the side of my right foot, turns out they do a wide fitting version. Disappointing the staff member didn’t mention this. Only noticed the pinching after a mile of walking.Now the other flaw. I’ve had these for around six months and the grip on them have worn pretty badly already. Ive mainly used them in the summer months, being non GTX. Another annoying thing, the tongue slips around your feet making them uncomfortable after a few miles of use. For the price of these I’d expected these to last a lot longer. Will they last another six months? Unlikely.
