Consulate General of Romania in London

I came with a friend to request a Romanian visa. We were received politely by the security team and they answered all our questions. They were professional. Despite looking strong and intimidating (you need such security in embassies and consulate though) they monitored everybody coming in, out with respect. It brings dignity and honour t.o their job, their people and country

Perfect service! Got my visa very fast and all the staff was so friendly and helpful. Probably it is my best experience of visiting a consulate compared to other countries experience. Special thanks to Adelina, she's very knowledgeable and professional. Brilliant staff!

No star review for this horrible place.I went there for my registering my baby's birth, they refused to let my baby into the building.We arrived 12 min earlier to the appointment, and the gatekeeper sent us away. I had to change nappy on a busy street, I felt like crying from the way they treated us.The staff at the entrance was arrogant and rude, treating me with 0 respect, they couldn't spell my name and made me wait for ages to confirm my appointment. (although I showed them the proof in email)Nobody cares if you arrive with a baby. My husband was sent outside to have a coffee" while I deal with documents

I had the best experience ever, so lovely and helpful staff. The Lady just made my day! She made me happy with all my documents done and answered questions, was very helpful! Thanks a lot again!

The lady who helped me was very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I am very grateful for how quick and prompt she helped me book in another appointment as I wasn't aware I selected the wrong options when I booked the appointment by myself.I didn't het her name but I will always be grateful to her and I wish her to keep up with the great job!

If I’m being honest, they’re not even worth 1 star! I’m extremely disgusted by their service! Such disrespectful and racist staff members work here. Apparently, it is forbidden for a person who speaks minimum English to go to Romanian for a family holiday with their British children who speak fluent English. Apparently, giving dirty looks, making snide remarks about people, and disrespectfully throwing all their documents at them at the end of conversation is part of the job role in this place. Apparently, going on a family holiday and spending money in their country is enigmatic. I think the staff member we had today needs to get her eyes checked and look through the documents people take with them before saying “you don’t have this and you don’t have that” - I am completely flabbergasted as to how this foolish, uneducated and brainless individual, with an arrogant attitude, got this job. Not sure if this was pure discrimination based on ethnicity/race or just arrogance from the lady’s side? I think the embassy really needs to re-evaluate who their hire as this experience we had today was nothing short of disrespectful, racist and just overall appalling. I have definitely been put off of my short family holiday to Romania. Oh and the finishing touch to this whole ordeal was the lady saying “you have wasted so much of my time today” when during the whole conversation I must’ve said about 5 words. An absolutely disgusting experience!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This Consulate is an example of professionalism and efficiency in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The administrative staff is experienced and knowledgeable in all civil matters and the best part is that they try to help in all situations and circumstances. I have been here on numerous occasions over the past two years and each time was a positive experience. Thank you!
