Union Wharf Narrowboats

We had a fun day out on the water aboard Kingfisher. I had not piloted a narrow boat before, but we were given training with a quick spin around the wharf before setting off. Recommended!

We hired one yesterday, not sure there would have been enough room for 10 people but then we seemed to take quite a bit of stuff with us. Very easy to use and had a brilliant day I assume because it was lovely and sunny that also helped

Spent an amazing day on their electric narrow-boat! very friendly staff, beautiful drive (sail, float?) down to the Foxton basin & back for the 5 of us. The boat was spotless & very comfortable and thankfully the weather was perfect. We all loved it! We'll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic day on a canal boat hired from here. The boats are slightly larger than standard so we got 7 adults and 4 young children easily on... and with the tarpaulin style cover we could enjoy the fresh air and stay warm. The staff were very helpful and taught us how to drive the boat while also explaining what to do if we got stuck (we didn’t) and also how to open the road bridge. We travelled about 6 miles each way with no problems and there were lots of lovely things to see. The boat was also very clean and spacious inside. Would definitely recommend!

Great service from Union Wharf.Party of 11 people booked a days hire. We were given a full overview of the boat before leaving.Boat in good condition. Very clean.We will definitely be looking to rebook next year.

Hired a day boat for a family birthday. Spent a wonderful day messing about on the water with a picnic stop halfway. The staff and crew were friendly and helpful and the boat was immaculate. Pricey, but if you want to indulge yourself would highly recommend. The Union Wharf is also a hidden gem and very picturesque. Couldn't ask for more!

Lovely basin and moorings, good facilities and friendly staff. Can be a bit noisy if the Waterfront restaurant has a private function ☺️
