Went there for sunday lunch . Very welcoming place . The meal was really good . Plentiful serving and your veggies are all freshly cooked and served seperatly alongside . Hot , fresh , and delicious. I would recommend the plough to anyone .

So went for the 2 way burger special. Wasn't what I expected. The beef burger a small beef patty that you'd get from lidl, the chicken dry and they came as 2 separate burgers? I kind of expected them in 1 burger with all the garnish.Waitress put them in front of us and walked off straight away before she or we could ask about any sauces. No-one asked how the meal was....Only thing that made up for the meal was the chips.

The best Sunday roast! The meat was so tender and the portion size generous. It was great they offer a baby plate in addition to a child's plate. It was just right for my 2 year old granddaughter. Also, ordered a take for my son, who said it was amazing. The landlord was really friendly and made us very welcome. This will definitely be our go-to for Sunday lunches in the future.

Great food on Sunday lunch, really nice meat and monster yorkshires (Better than Woodfield Farm and Tobys) but service can be choppy and they allow vaping (if that's an issue for anyone) - pretty gross when you're inside eating in my opinion but it's not illegal.

I didn't eat or drink here, but as a long distance delivery driver, any pub that allows me to use their toilet facilities gets 5 stars. Thanks Plough Inn!

The Plough Inn
This place was visited in connection to my uncle's funeral. After the church service, then a walk to the cemetery and back, we went to The Plough Inn for the wake. This place was comfortable and the room that we were in was for our party. There was food provided and there were also drinks available (somebody had paid for the drinks for us all). Also there was tea and coffee available as well.The food provided included open sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pies, scotch eggs, crisps, scones, cheesecake, etc. They even did pie, peas and gravy. All was very nice indeed.A nice comfortable place. Staff was very pleasant. A nice afternoon catching up with family, but due to unfortunate circumstances.

Had a birthday party in the function room saturday evening, the food was first class and was more than plentiful, items were added we hadn't anticipated for no extra cost. The staff and landlady/husband went above and beyond to make it extra special. Had a fabulous evening, would highly recommend
